Your kidding right? I be honest with you guys, even if there was no Liara in either me1 or 2 I wouldn't romance any of the others, I'd wait til me3 and go find Shiala

In the comic it is revealed that the body is so badly "blown all to hell" that it was hard to tell if Shepard was a male or female. 

Also, the deal the Shadow Broker made w/ the Collectors may not have been w/ the Collectors.  In one scene, it's pretty clear that Harbinger (through the main collector) is talking to the SB. Harbinger later assumes control of another collector, though he doesn't say actually say that.   So, if the SB is all he says he is, then he probably knows who he is really dealing with.  In an earlier issue, the SB speaks of the compensation for collecting Shepard's body was well worth it, leading me to suspect that the SB may be pulling a Saren and has made a deal w/ the Reapers in exchange for being left alive.  That's pure speculation, though.

There would be no point in something like that, no other sentient beings around once Reapers are done, fact is there wouldn't be any evoloved organic life.

I go one step further. It's Liara and only Liara for me. No other LI matters!!

Oh I agree, but if there wasn't a Liara in ME at all, hell might not have even played the game heh.

Feron as a fem shep LI, what , another fish.......I want to romance something without gills.

Agree Cartims, No gills, no exoskeletons ie: need soft lips, no heath problems or emotional ones.

True. Mass Effect without Liara would be cold, hollow, empty and souless.

Honestly the choices for LI's for Femshep make me feel like she's been put into a mother figure roll, the two popular ones Kaidan and Thane are sick, "Mom, I are sick, gimme hug"

No kidding. I was actually, genuinely nervous and excited when I first landed on Illium. I remembered that Liara was there, from what TIM said at the beginning of the game. When the concierge greets you as soon as you dock, and mentions Liara by name and that she is looking forward to meeting you, my excitement almost went through the roof. My mouth was dry, my stomach in knots. I was actually going to see Liara again! Time to catch up!

I'd heard bits and pieces about what happens in the Liara reunion from accidentally reading parts of spoilers on the net, as ME2 was released 3 days later here in the UK. Still didn't ease my initial disappointment and confusion, and evetual sadness when I realised just how much Liara was suffering, and the fact that the reason she's suffering is her love for Shepard.

This. I had heard nothing about her concrete appearance, but I did know that it would be only a small role. Disappointing, but so what. When I went to Illium in my first game, it was in fact quite late in the game. Kind of saving the best for later. But already I was increasingly annoyed by all the changes in ME 2, the cutting of corners and the dumbing down. I should have anticipated by then, that they'd probably botch the Liara reunion too. Instead, my hopes for a nice scene - something on par with ME 1 finally? - only increased. But instead this... bam! As the icing on the cake of all my disappointment with the game, they trash my favourite character and don't allow my Shepard to say anything about the romance.

I don't think it needs "more" romances, but I DO believe the romances that are now in there need to be explored in a lot more depth.

I would go the other way no more romances than there already is becasue it could lead to not being able to tie up the romances already going like in 2 the me1 romances did not really move forward
