How ever much we want more Liara in the game, I just don't think it will happen before ME3, what ever they do for Liara LI's, they'd have to for the rest as well, or I am sure you'd see/hear some serious flaming.

hm...the only ones they'd have to something for at the moment are the ME1-LI's, especially Liara of course ^^
That said, they already left Ashley and Kaidan out in the Kasumi DLC, why not in the Liara DLC, too

I know I know...it's selfish, but...I can't help it. I'd totally go for a ME1-LI DLC, but if I'd have to choose between a Liara DLC (with Ash/Kaidan fans flaming) and no DLC at all, I'd choose the Liara DLC. It should also meet my expectations, of course

if you think about it they cut a ton of stuff from the game with the comics being made the whole legion helping liara find your body and staking you from the start of the game so much so the game where liara is concerned does not make that much sense

if they are smart they should do a liara dlc I can see one dealing with liara and one that shows the 2 years you were dead and what happened to ash/kaidan

I would love to see one that starts when you die and goes till you're body is found just to fill in the 2 year gap

I know how much Liara plays into the overall plot, searching, finding and giving Shepard's body to Cerberous through the comic, she's been in Shepard's head and helped em along the way in ME1, but all those can be done platonicly.

I'm not saying she's not important to the whole story cause she is, but I'm not convinced Biowaste would or could do a DLC for romance without tossing Ashely/Kaidan LI's into it without creating a backlash of complaints, she's already been cameo'd in a different setting then the other two, and she has the comic, Biowaste can just say that will do for now.

If anything, it will be a Shadow Broker DLC, in which case they can't really not include Liara.  We mightn't get what we want, but she kinda has to be there.

Well... BioWare/EA don't care about what people write on their forums. The loudest screamers already got all they wanted. I doubt they would suddenly pay any attention to complaints from the (relatively) few fans of the ME 1 LIs around here. Besides, it's money above everything else. If someone decides that a DLC featuring Liara is the most commercially viable thing for the developers to spend their time on, then it will be done, and screw everyone who isn't happy about it. Exactly what happened to us this time.

That said, I don't think that they think a Liara DLC would be the best thing to do, and therefore it will either not happen at all, or it will be cheap and quick pew-pew without much or any consideration for the relationship.

I think we will get something that can be considered 'Liara DLC' before ME3, but it could end up being a short mission involving the rescue of Feron. Liara might be a temporary squadie, but then goes back to Illium after the rescue. If there was romantic content I'd wager it would be small. However, BioWare could release a larger DLC aka expansion pack (all semantics really) that could have content for Liara and the other ME1 LIs. Regardless, BioWare would have to take a lot into account if they did have romantic content for the ME1 LIs in any future DLCs, especially if its after the suicide mission and you cheated.

But I'm with Baal, given the choice I'd always go for Liara DLC sans Ash/Kaidan than no DLC at all.

Kasumi has these "I acknowledge your LI with a sentense about them and what I think about them" - lines. Everyone gets one, some more than one depending on the current relationship status. Liara is the only ME1-LI however who gets a line. Ashley and Kaidan are not mentioned and there are no audio-files about them, aswell.

Liara will be in anything dealing with the SB, but I don't expect ANY significant movement on the romance front, perhaps just an acknowledgement. 

I imagine by this time next year, hopefully halfway to ME 3 if it is to come out in late 2011/early 2012, we will have an expansion or larger DLC of some kind which will bridge ME 2 to ME 3.  In this case, I think we will see more substantial progress when it comes to romances, at least setting the stage for the final game...

My hopes for this DLC aren't going anywhere past a line or two of extra dialogue.  And chances are it will only be a subtle mention of your relationship.

they will not deal with the SB till me3 if you ask me I have feeling it is a reaper and not a person plus it would play out better as part of a full game and not a short dlc

I can see a SB DLC to a degree, but that may well have been all there was for ME2 on that topic, although all that information Thane was suppose to have captured/downloaded might spark a sub-plot somewhere.

Highly possible once you think more on it, they've been adding all these little DLCs on a steady bases and since we've got all the squadies they had now and don't think Normandy needs yet another tank, nor does Shepard need any more weapons heh, they may toss sub-plot dlcs in that wouldn't affect the end game, I suppose SB one could squeeze in.

well her knowing about liara sort of fits maybe she asked her for info but why would she know anything about a alliance solider

Yeah, its unfortunate that they didnt add any lines for them, but did for Liara.

Makes me wonder if it was an error or just Biowaste's way of damaging me1 LI's in me2, they try real hard to make you give em up

I really wish Kasumi had some dialogue referring to Ash/Kaidan. They deserved some acknowledgement that the romance was going to continue.
