That's true, but we can't mod scenes. I still want to swap Liara's model with one of the other female LIs so I can get a love scene with Liara (like Jack's, for example). I don't even know how to do this
I would have loved to see that too. Shepard laying Liara down on the bed.

I know *sniffles*. It would have been beautiful.
You can swap Shepard for another model but not an npc.

Do you think BioWare even notices how upset Liara fans are? We've gotten no word from them on anything. And unless that comic was already done, they ignored what we wanted out of it. Why do people still expect a perfect DLC to come along an fix everything? Purely wishful thinking? Is there something from the devs somewhere that I missed? That one comment hinting about a DLC after the comic, can't be all. It could be only about the Shadow Broker and finding Feron.
No, I think you're right on the money. I doubt BioWare would come in and give us special attention on our character. Every other fanbase would feel alienated, so it's not a smart move. I don't expect much from a DLC outside of the SB arc and finding out whatever happened to Feron. I do expect this romance to become fulfilled in ME3, however.

I'm sure they've noticed. The real question is..... do they care?scmadsen wrote...

Right, the romance will get the same attention as the others but not until ME3. I would be surprised if there was substantial romance content just for Liara in a DLC.
We may feel more alienated than other fans, but they're not going to do anything special just for Liara.

I am really worried that this thread will drown in the abyss of despair without les here until Friday.
I wish I could take up the cheerleading status myself, but I'm feeling under the weather, so I can't sustain hope for more than approximately ten minutes at a time.

Still, you know it's true though. BioWare doesn't seem to care.

I will revive the optimism in the spirit of Mr. LesEnfatsTerribles!
Errr, OK....this is going to be tough. *tries*
There has to be a reason why Liara had such a crap role in ME2 and a lot of questions about her are thus far unanswered in the game. This includes romance (if you romanced her). So, they need to fix this in DLC, dammit!!! Unlike the ME2 LIs or even Ash and Kaidan, her romance is at at questionable point. Ashley and Kaidan lovers received an email full of romance that set the stage for a future relationship between them and Shepard. ME2 LI lovers had their consummation scene at the end of the game. Liara lovers got squat and a role for Liara that was the same if you romanced her or not. They can't leave this hanging without some sense of direction going into ME3.
Also, they can't include Liara in the DLC and completely ignore romance, can they? And really, it's only like a few more lines Hillis has to record for romance v.s non-romance. Plus, we love Liara and we are here showing this now...BW has to be paying attention, right?
Whew, that was hard.

It's always happy hour for Liara when Shepard is around <3
I wonder if Liara drinks, and if so, what kind of alcohol?
I'd hope she'd try a beer or drink some scotch, as that's what my Shepard drinks. She might only like wines and stuff like that. A drunk Liara would be quite the site, though.

Good job, AND valid points. Stubbs and les are probably overly optimistic, I'll admit... but then again I leapt into full-on Oghren happy-dance mode after one line from Kasumi, which I can't even see until at least Friday. (I'm expecting to finalize my Hardcore achievement by about then for ME1 anyway...) And why is it that I was so ecstatic? Because I take that line as proof that they remember us. (Whereas sc glass-quarter-emptied it into 'yeah, we're broken up'. Coincidentally, sc seems to be the only one who has seen Redemption #4 with his or her own eyes to come up with such crushing fears and anxiety over the romance. This includes me, as of last night.)
I still have to say this, to be honest to myself -- the problem is that a) the designers have to maintain 'status-quo' in the ME1 romances, and
Still, I truly do believe we're getting Liara DLC, and that we'll have unique content, and hell, we'll even hopefully have a better performance from Ali now that she knows what she's supposed to go for. (Though part of me thinks that what we like most about the scene is how she's only comfortable opening up into her old self... still, if she's smart, and is allowed TO be smart about it, she'll stick with the same delivery.) As for the rest, well, what else can we do?

I could see her with a martini, they are very sophisticated......a drunk Liara could be sexy
