I just had a light bulb moment. Liara's new attitude and relative coldness toward Shepard, even if romanced, makes dramatic sense to me now. She's a tragic hero. Everything she's done, including her quest for revenge, is because of Shepard. But that quest has so consumed her that it matters more to her than the person she loves. I fully expect there'll be an option to make her see reason in three -- or make her even worse.

You know, BW should get some credit for ME2, they really pulled a fast one.



BW: "Hai guys, guess what, we're making a sequel to ME1"

Fans: "Great lets rush out and buy it"

Fans: "Wait a minute, what happened, why aren't the characters from the first game in it and who are all these new people?"

BW: "Haha, suckers. See you in two more years."

Fans: "......"

Yep, I think she also has issues dropping her defenses as well...being alone so much is her defense mechanism. losing her friends reinforced this to her. IMO.

Come on BioWare, we need the Liara expansion! (Or at least some indication as to when it will be released).

Or a solid indiction that there even will be.  All it would probably take for me to at least be content would be some sort of acknowledgment that, yes they know we weren't happy with what we got and that more is coming down the pike at some point in the future.  That would at least, maybe, make me content enough to finish a new ME2 game.

I'm a little late, but better late than never right? I support Liara as a returning LI and Squadmate in ME 3. I'd be pretty happy if her and Samara could be in my squad, actually.

Well at least the Liara DLC didn't stem from pure speculation. There was actually a file that had Liara and DLC in the same sentence, and it'd be really really really REALLY cruel of BioWare to put that file in there just to poke fun at the fans. Might not see the DLC in awhile, but I'd rather have thm perfect it isntead of rushing it. But yes, I agree that some acknowledgement from BW regarding the Liara DLC would make me feel A LOT better.

Don't forget Liaras BIG BABY BLUE eyes come ME3. Her eyes in ME2(looked "flat/grey") did not have the same beautiful look they had in ME1.(Big Baby Blue/glossy)

I actually liked her eyes in ME2. Of course I like the ME1 eyes better, but I found her ME2 eyes rather sexy.
