I hope all three have an awesome role as that's why they were supposedly saved from ME2's suicide mission.

I hope that staying true to them also has a good payout too. A lot of people probably bit that Horizon bait to start hating on them, and Liara's darker persona too.

Well, we have to trust them to keep their promise...should we...no not really...but what can you do. So we wait and hope. Logic would say they would save them for something big in ME3, but we've seen logic ignored before.

Unfortunately, but stiil there are others who remain loyal to the originals.  Those three characters remain popular around here, at least.

Liara is without a doubt going to play a bigger role in ME3, I think the whole Shadow Broker deal is going to be sorted out in that game, instead of a DLC.

The Virmire Survivor is harder to say, many different circumstances could pop up with them.

Was that the reason given? Or is that what people assumed when ME1 characters were cameo'd in 2?

They said that somewhere..but don't ask me where right now.

They said they had to keep them out of ME2 so they could be around for ME3.
