This is true though. Asari are asexual as they do not reproduce by mixing genetic materials. Of course that doesn't mean they cant "enjoy" any physical interaction during the course of, well, um, course of, ya!GamerFSS86 wrote...
Yeah thats just about the same when Casey calls Asari----asexual.......WTF, oh wellIt is pretty obvious that they do if you played ME and romanced Liara
.
You can see here what I am talking about
She looks very much like she is enjoying this!
Have you faced an asari going commando before??? Few humans have.

Provided that they didn't (intentionally) write themselves in to a corner with this inconsistency, it must thus be necessarily true that Bioware doesn't consider them to be separated, or their writers must fill in the gap in their justification for why Liara and Shepard are so distant from each other in ME2.

I just realized that if Bioware intends to explain Liara's apparent apathy in ME2 by saying that she had moved on from Shepard between ME1 and ME2, or at least doesn't think of them as being in a relationship anymore, then they cannot implement these consequences of cheating they've mentioned will be in ME3.

I keep seeing this 'intended to be separated' in this and other threads.
I really don't know what to make of it, though. Seriously, Shepard sends Liara, her girlfriend, to the escape pods, gets spaced, and ... two years later, but practically instantaneously to her, she's running around a space station shooting up droids, and anywhere from a week to a month later, she's on Illium talking to Liara again. (It's an even shorter time with Ash/Kai 'mancers, of course.)
How could she intend to be anything, seriously...

What if in a dramatic twist you contact the Illusive Man and Liara is sitting in his seat while having picked up the bad habit of nicotine addiction???

Then there is no such thing as cheating then, so the whole notion behind that is bunk then. Its a free for all of sex and the exchange of goods and services.
