This is true though. Asari are asexual as they do not reproduce by mixing genetic materials. Of course that doesn't mean they cant "enjoy" any physical interaction during the course of, well, um, course of, ya! It is pretty obvious that they do if you played ME and romanced Liara .

I really don't know what to make of it, though.  Seriously, Shepard sends Liara, her girlfriend, to the escape pods, gets spaced, and ... two years later, but practically instantaneously to her, she's running around a space station shooting up droids, and anywhere from a week to a month later,she's on Illium talking to Liara again.  (It's an even shorter time with Ash/Kai 'mancers, of course.)

How could she intend to be anything, seriously...

They are on a break.

Then there is no such thing as cheating then, so the whole notion behind that is bunk then. Its a free for all of sex and the exchange of goods and services.
