Hey, that's how I described that scene. You're stealing my descriptions, Les! ....j/k

Hey, your description is perfect ratz! Seriously, I love that part, particularly the look on Liara's face.

I also love the second passionate kiss, the one during the meld. It's absolutely beautiful, and the look of absolute love and contentment on Liara's face is just...

I agree with Baal. Probably one of the best Liara screenshots there is!

That's more like it should have been, I think.

So true, bjd. I really did want to hug and kiss Liara then. So sad that Shepard only seems to want to focus on the mission, when his/her lover has just opened her heart about how much she's suffered, the guilt that's tormented her, and how everything she's doing is because of her love for you. Well played, Shepard.

Keep these pics coming, bjd. I've noticed that you've altered Liara's colour back to her original deep blue. I like that.

I don't get why her color was changed....

Then again...I don't get a lot of things Liara related in ME2 :-/

I think Jayla and Les can explain how the lighting and stuff is different for Illium and Liara's office. It's a neat little discovery. ;)

Yeah, she looks very grey in the original. Then again, that may be fitting, but I don't like it. Apart from that I'm pretty much out of content. There's little more to extract from the game. I'll leave the rest to those who can properly draw and paint.

By the way, I noticed that her hands fit around a female Shepard better than a male Shepard, where there's more clipping. That's of course unimportant , since you can't see this angle in-game. But it almost seems to me the animators had a female Shepard in mind when they created the animation. :P

JP did it best, he actually created and compiled this little image. Take a look Baal:

That there is JP's TestShep. He edited Samara's torso onto Shepard's body, and changed the skincolour for Shepard to something similar to Liara's blue.

Take a look at the difference between the Normandy and Liara's office. The lighting alters the colour of the asari blue drastically.

Holy ****.

That explains it then. Stupid BW can't even get the light right in Liara's office.... *grumble*

So much good discussion in here...... I wonder if anyone at Bioware is even aware any of this is going on. So many fans, hurt and confused by what they did to their favorite character, trying desperately to sort everything out. So much effort being put into this thread..... it would practically be criminal if none of the devs ever read it.

I know, but you're the best at digging up old info in the post, and I wasn't sure if Jayla was around :)

They don't read these threads.  They probably just think all 'character support threads' are crap filled with spam.  And, they don't care.  They'll bring back whomever they want in ME3 and do whatever they want with them.

I'm sure they have at least once. I mean, have you seen some of the other threads they post in?

On that note, sad Liara is sad :crying::crying::crying:

They've recently posted in the Miranda and Garrus threads only b/c someone reported them for being off topic or posting offensive materials.  They're not actually  reading them.

Well, I, um, kinda cheated. JP has this image in his album in his profile!:D

ratz, very well said my friend. I lot of the theories and analysis that we come up with makes so much sense.

Take a look at what we theorised would happen at the end of Redemption. That TIM would manipulate Liara into working with Cerberus. It would explain why TIM lies about Liara, how Liara suddenly amassed all of her contacts and sources, it would partly explain why Liara is distant because TIM has ordered her to stay away from Shepard, that TIM would use Liara like a tool in order to target his rival in the information field.

It all made so much sense, and worked perfectly. So much wasted potential...

I didn't even know they posted in those threads recently, I haven't payed attention to them, I was just thinking they have some people that browse the forums and take notes. I could be wrong, I don't really know. Some of you guys have been around here a lot longer than I have.

I am sure someone at Bioware reads SOME of these threads. Of course they are not involved in everything, but I think they get a general wind of public opinion. I am sure it is not lost on them that Liara was handled in a unfortunate way...

This is what I was thinking. I doubt they're monitoring, but they probably skim once in a while to get a general idea.

I'm not sure how it works really.  I'm just assuming there is no way in hell they read through the entire Tali thread and Miranda thread and Kaidan thread and this thread.

I would think they pay more attention to the threads discussing gameplay or the ones discussing ME3 wishlists...things like that.  The mods also seem way more active in the 'non-spoiler' thread than in this one, for some reason.

Well the whole Liara story has so much wasted potential you could build a reaper with it

As for the devs reading this I doubt it maybe a few peaks here and there at best, also we could try baseless praise that seems to lure them out from time to time:P
