That news is really old, and nothing we haven't heard or seen before. It's really just the writer cobbling together old news and trying to pass it off as new stuff.
Funny, the screenshot of the Liara DLC files shown in the article is the one I took of my own CookedPC folder to show 4chan ages ago.

And if this is true I get the feeling she is obsessed and crazy, as hard as that is to say about her. Forget about the shadow broker for one god damn second, its been 2 years since I have spoken to you and all you can focus on is the broker. =-(
That is speaking as though that DLC does come true, either way, i still luv'er.

I like this part:
Liara's story, on the other hand, could potentially change the Mass Effect universe as well as a fan favorite character. It's no secret that many fans disapprove of the direction Bioware took with Liara's character. Many complain that Liara's demeanor is too dark and pinned with evil undertones. Considering the gravity of Liara eliminating the Shadow Broker and taking over the information network, one would expect that a longer experience (rather than a single mission) is in order. It stands to reason that if the Liara DLC is released, it would come in the form of a full expansion akin to Age Origins: Awakening. Liara's mission would most likely be available after the suicide mission, and offer the ability to import your existing character.
Bioware has openly stated that they are interested in developing Liara's character. Given her massive fan following, it stands to reason that a mission featuring the Asari as a squadmate (even if it's mission specific) would garner a lot of fan interest. With the Redemption series at it's conclusion it makes sense for Bioware to wrap up the Liara / Shadow Broker subplot in Mass Effect 2, rather than saving it for ME3. Bioware, however, has been rather silent on the subject.

Impossible to tell. Liara's biotics are OP in the comics. Her biotics in ME1 are nowhere near what she has in the comics. We'd need to see what Samara is capable of outside of the game, in another story-telling medium, where the writers can write her as powerful as they need her to be for the situation at-hand, in order to judge. Mac Walters definitely did that with Liara in Redemption, throwing that frickin' biotic tornado.

I still don't like the drawing of those comics at all. Just look at the face. Sorry, but the canon Liara is still the one in the game, and the Asari in that picture ain't it.

well they got her body right for me the face was not right as you say but its a comic look at the star wars comics the drawings in them don't look totally like the real people

Yeah, that writer isn't telling us anything we don't already know. Its pure conjecture and, as you said, simply putting words into BioWare's mouth.

I'd say, any postive commentary about Liara is awesome! What words were put in bw's mouth? They do want to do more with Liara, I mean, they can't possibly leave her like this until ME3, that would be ridiculous. They have to resolve some of this SB business.

The author talks about some very specific things as if they will happen, as if he's privy to some information the rest of us aren't, when really he's just as clueless.

I think we will see a Liara dlc but it will not end the SB storyline I think that will run till the 3rd game maybe they could do the shadowbroker coming after shepard to get to liara as he finds out that they are in love
or maybe even set a trap for her by capturing the normandy while shepard is off the ship and have them both go and find the ship and crew

One thing though how about the other romances? Wouldn't they be pissed if the DLC is only about liara? I still perfer the romance DLC. The liara part could be included along with ash and hopefully ties some this up before the final Chapter.

I wouldn't mind, actually, if they only covered Liara. I think the romance pack should be seperate, personally. And how it would include content for all the romances, idk. THat would be a pretty big-sized project.

they might still do the romance dlc but this is more a side story if it is right and they cut a ton of stuff for the comics they need to fill in the gaps I would even like a legion dlc so we can get a story about how he got the n7 armour
