Of course not! But if he had found a way to manipulate the text in the game, or even add new emails, that would be amazing too. I've said it before, everything that BioWare did wrong could be forgiven if they had allowed for proper modding. For many games that's quite possible even without official tools, but for the ME games it almost seems they deliberately tried to prevent it. <_<

Holy crap, it took me all these hours to finish that chapter. For those of you still awake, I finished Chapter 12 of my ME 1 fanfic dealing with Liara and Shepard. Part of it is to make up why I think there is a seed of something "darker" planted for both of them in the second game.



I honestly didn't want to finish the story but said screw it and am almost done. The link is below:

Hi Lili fans ^^.



First of all i don't take any credits for DLC siggy except overall idea.

I just connected those three letters together and what i found is show up in that siggy.



On the other topic.

Too bad that EA will NEVER EVER goes in way which Firaxis takes whit thier Civ V where they hired actual Civilization modding community to create that game.

Firaxis just provided updated engine but rest is created by series fans which so to speak eat thier teeth on all four parts of that game.



I remember some debates about ME 2 from old forum and suggestions about improvements (aka flatten planets, upgradeable Mako, customizable weapons and armors...) and what we get in return?

I really wonder what part of community Bioware did listening but definitive not RPG part, but like i say many times.

When Mac Walters and his team takeover this franchise after Drew Karpyshyn he decided to scrap original idea and started HIS OWN vision of Mass Effect and that's mean only one.

First - elevated Cerberus to role of single galactic heroes.

Second - making Alliance and Council meaningless cameos which will NOT interfere whit his vision of "great cerberus".

Third - forcing Shepard to unrefusable work for TiM by setting up ridiculous chain of events.

Fourth - GET RID from game main Mass Effect 1 love interests by reducing them to cameos as well.

-side note- I am quite convinced if Tali and Garrus would be Li's in ME 1 too they would face similar treatment as Lili and Ash/Kaidan.



Conclusion.

After some deliberations i am quite surprised that Mr Walters DID give paragons at the end chance to quit official work for TiM.

But one thing IS quite clear for me.

Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2 are two completely different games and this whole series from now should never be called a trilogy because they have nothing to do whit real trilogy but they are more stand alone games...



Thank you EA for killing this so promising series...

Oooh, thanks screw. I'll give it a read later. Your Shepard and Liara stories are awesome, so it's great that you've finished another chapter.

Got any more Liara stories in the pipeline?

I want to take this Shepard and Liara to where ME 2 ends.  Probably a shorter work with a few focused chapters.  After that, i have an idea for a more cutesy but still dramatic Liara/Shepard story that takes place in the far future...we'll see.

Ah, that's good to hear. Is there a possibility that you may wait it out for the Liara DLC, and see what happens in that before writing the conclusion of the ME2 arc of Shepard and Liara? If what I predict will happen in the DLC actually does occur, then we're going to have some pretty deep, intimate and emotional scenes with Liara, and a really heartwarming affirmation of the romance. You made need to work that into your story at some point, screw.
