Its not so evil for our dear Liara.  Sometimes vengeance has a price though, one that we don't pay personally.

Gah, just got back from a fourteen hour car trip, and have a legion of pages to read.

Anyone hear that a really good artist over at DeviantArt --'Goes by the name Ghostfire-- is doing some Shepard/Liara related artwork? Or at least, she was, her initial sketch turned into something different and I think it's dormant for now, but I'm still hopin'.

And for the people unfamiliar, here's a couple of her pieces.

Anyway, I have plans to turn my current story into the first part of a trilogy.  The following works will be SHORTER than this one, which burgeoned well beyond my original intent.  I have not the patience to novelize the ME games as some try to do and probably do far better than I could.  God, I can't imagine writing 200,000+ words...

I'll let you know how it progresses.

As for clues, I'm only making guesses off of what little I know. If my guesses sound more like facts, it's because when I post, I post what I believe from what I know or heard. I put facts together, and make a theory. Don't like them, then I'm sorry.

She's good.  How did you hear she was doing Liara/Shep stuff?  Did she post her original sketch?  I didn't see it when I checked out her gallery.

Yes I am aware they have DLC in their names, this has been discussed for months, and all these reports etc etc are all inaccurate and based completely off of the junk files found in the client packages. Place all of the junked files in conversation form and then compare them to all the current real dialog and you will see the parallels. Just because the game shipped with those files with DLC in the name does not mean thats what they are. Instead of spending days rebuilding huge package files and changing code, its easier to tag them with a junk file name and forget them.

If you are only making guesses based off of hearsay you might want to say that. I am not the only one that felt that way. And facts don't make theories, they make facts. Theories are what people come up with when they don't have facts and try to fill in blanks. Ask any theoretical physicist and they will tell you that most theories are usually wrong. Facts are facts and theories are just guesses.

I don't mean to unload on you, some of us are just a bit weary hearing these theories and people reading some clueless article with no basis in fact and calling it fact.

Im afraid that if there is a Liara DLC released, she wont be in ME3. Let me elaborate; there are many squad members in Mass Effect 2 nd a long list of possible outcomes that could have happnened on the suicide mission. For one player Jack may have died while for another maybe Legion was destroyed. Will BioWare actually give some players Jack in their squad while not giving her to another player? There would be too many possibilites if you could upload a character from Mass Effect 2 and have all those actions follow you into ME3, the gameplay would be way too different if some players got Samara while others did not. What does this mean? Most likely BioWare is going to do something crafty and give us another scenario where something happens that causes the crew to split up again. If Liara is a part of that crew then she wont be in Mass Effect 3. This is just my take on it. Im tired right now so I couldn't really explain well, but if you have questions I can answer them tomorrow.

There are many theories out there, as well as thread, etc. and only Bioware can say it's junk or not. Either way, it is a hint of DLC to come, or it isn't. I really don't care. Believe what you want.

The excuse they used to keep Liara, Ash/Kaiden out of ME2 was because they had to stay alive for their part in ME3, that is confirmed by statements from Bioware. We will see Liara and Ash/Kaiden even if there ends up being any DLC or expansion.

It doesn't make any sense that they wouldn't have her in ME3. Game designers have to be practical with disk space issues and time/budget constraints so using a character that has to be alive in everyone's game is the only logical way to go. Are they more liekly to put the time/money into a character that might have to be replaced by another if they die in ME2? No.

However, I doubt we'll see her as a squadmate to prevent her from dying in the suicide mission.
