Yeah this thread does have its devotees, that is for sure. I keep tabs on whats going on for the most part and I am hopeful Bioware has something to keep us engaged for the summer months and Fall. Major releases are so far off...

I imagine we'll have to endure slightly less than a year's wait for our Expansion at least....which isn't too bad.

Yeah, that's not a long wait for an xpac. I don't care if it takes longer. I'm with Stubbs on this one. Make it count. I don't want a rushed job. That would just be salt in the wounds.

We are the remnant of the true Bioware fans.  I can only imagine in the old days when Baldurs Gate II came out, there were the few and proud who stuck around until the expansion, ToB released.  In my fantasy world the ME 2 expansion would be so good.  Awakenings didn't give me a lot of hope (the game bugged out on me and I can't advance...THANKS!!!!).

I would bet ME 3 isn't so far away either.  I would say two years from this time, we will have already played it.  Late 2011 or early 2012 is my guess.

It could be a lot worse.  If Blizzard was making ME 3 we'd see it in 2014 and if Square was...dear god...don't even bother waiting.

I want to say it was Hudson who said a lot of the crew was pulled off the main game when the core coding and such was odne and they were moved to the DLCs. So there is hope for sometime this fall. I don't know if I can wait another whole fragkking year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heck, those two were probably the most sensible people in the game.  After being told off from them about Cerberus I really wanted a "Jesus, I agree with you!" option.

Well Ash and Kaiden sent an email at least. I'm still waiting by the phone, Liara!!!!!!

I would not mind waiting for 5 years, if only they would SAY SOMETHING! Give us some updates, monthly would work.. but nooo, its silence. Half the bottle down, I'll be hammered shortly.

Whoever is keeping me away from Liara is going to pay. Big time. I got a save with 6/6 heavy weapons upgrades, and the 10% more heavy weapons ammo upgrade. That's 2 cain shots. To the face.

Since ME3 is probably already in development, I am sure they realised this long before they started and did something about (Liara Expansion).

Even besides pissing off us Liara lovers, they would ****** off a lot of other people if they created a bad Expansion.

There are a hell of a lot of holes in ME 2 and I imagine not all of them will ever be filled...

Still, two years for a full game release isn't a long time really.  The Lord of the Rings movies came out every year, so if you counted from the first to the last movie, you waited two years, so if it helps think of it like that . I was as Sophomore in HS when the first one came out and was a Senior when the final one was ready...

They said they pulled the ME1 cast so they couldn't die no matter what, let's hope they don't screw up the reunions after ME2.

Yes... i knew that... this was an interview with hudson or someone senior that said they pulled most of the devs from the main game when it was nearly complete and put them on DLCs and such. I'm almost sure of it Justin.

Well, to be fair, it will not just be Liara, it will cover Ash/Kaiden also, as it should.

I just hope ME 2 Expansion and ME 3 come out before this economy gets any worse. I need to have money to be able to afford the game and we will all need distractions from the real world anyway! We need our bread and circuses Bioware!
