Take a look, fellow Liara lovers. More articles related to the Liara DLC are popping up now:

http://www.gamedaily...iara-tsoni-dlc/

http://www.jvn.com/j...c-en-stock.html

I'm not sure what the second, French language article says but it definitely pertains to Liara in some way.

This is definitely starting to snowball though, people. The demand for more Liara content seems to be growing all the time. Just confirm something, BioWare!!!

I'm sorry if I come off as pessimistic now, but I wouldn't read too much into that.
It's the same thing as the English language pack. It's said one time and many sites pick it up.

That doesn't mean that I don't believe that there will be a Liara DLC, though, just that BW won't change their plans of revealing it due to some articles.

I know, and I'm aware that it's just rehashing the same old speculation that was started months ago.

Point still stands though that Liara and the demand for DLC is getting publicity and exposure, and that more websites are starting to pick up on it. It may not be anything new, but the demand is there, and it's being reported on. Hey, any publicity is good, right?

It will certainly help. I mean - we're in agreement that there will be Liara DLC and to have that, they'd need to be working on it right now. If they see now that there is an increasing demand and that Liara DLC will be well received then it might encourage them to work faster, or better or whatever. My point is it's good for both sides, imo :-)

I'd go for a Liara/Shiala threesome.

Well, even if they are just rehashing stuff we have been discussing for months, I still think any publicity id good, esp. if BW notices. They might be persuaded to be a bit more talkative regarding their future plans.

Right, I'm going to get some serious ME1 playtime in today. I've got the beautiful Liara at my side, oh how I missed her in ME2!

I hope they announce the Liara DLC soon. Playing ME1 makes me realise just how much I miss her.

We might not even be getting a DLC, we haven't heard anything about it.

Like I posted yesterday - and maybe it's only a tease - DAO_Natalie (a Mod) has created a topic on the Liara DLC in the German forum. That can't be considered an official announcement from BW, of course, but at least they know there are speculations and demand and not "just" from the community members.

Somehow reading these posts makes me want to replay the first Mass Effect. I really miss my, err... our little scientist.

I kind of wonder why Bioware makes Liara taller? Perhaps they forgot to scale her down?

They didn't make her taller, I think. Liara's just wearing high heels :P

High heels? Perhaps you're right.

But I am most certain Liara's head looks slightly bigger than Shepard's the part where they're kissing.

Maybe it's just me and I sometimes can be hard to please.

Sure looks that way, and yes she's a bit taller too. But so what? I'm glad that not everyone has the exact same size like in other games. I think it was the case in ME 1 too.

Hi Marcin. Glad to hear that your internet is okay now!

I think Liara is definitely wearing heels under her dress. For one, she wouldn't grow several inches taller like that for no reason, and two, if you look at a full body shot of her in ME2, if she were wearing flat soled shoes her legs would be way too long.

Plus, I think heels suits Liara's dress, in terms of formal attire suitable for her job. Take a look at how most modern businesswomen wear heels along with their suits.

Really though, I want to see Liara out of that dress, and back on the Normandy. I miss her!

Looking back over the whole scene on Illium...setting side how I've viewed it before...just looking to go with my first reactions again...I got the vibe this time, that Liara is angry with Shepard. With this in mind...the way Shepard handles things...it doesn't seem so bad. I don't know, I feel dirty and weird now, for defending BioWare on how Shepard reacts. No matter how one views it, or looks at it, the whole scene was a failure...we deserved better.

scmadsen, that's what also irks me alot. Everyone bashes Liara, exagerrating her supposed "coldness" and "distance", but nobody ever says anything about Shepard. How OOC Shepard acts, how she doesn't even bring up the romance with Liara, how she doesn't even try to be comforting to Liara at all, how she doesn't even inquire as to Liara's wellbeing and and how she's feeling. If anything, Shepard should get even more criticised than Liara, especially as Liara opens up, shows enough emotion to Shepard and reveals that she's doing everything for her, and that she's been guilty and afraid Shepard will hate her.

I wouldn't say Liara is angry at Shepard, actually. It's more frustration at herself that, due to her fear that Shepard will hate her and her guilt, she's aware that she's coming across as vague, distant and confusing. She knows that Shepard is probably viewing her in a dim light, and it's hurting her, and causing her to become frustrated at herself for not being able to enlighten an obviously ignorant Shepard.

And when Liara does open up. Hoo boy:

Agreed, so did Liara.

It is a little disconcerting to me how easily BW can disregard its fans and its own characters.

Sorry but Shep does ask how she is doing and does try to remonstrate how Liara is seemingly going down the same path as her mother and warns her to be careful. So am not sure what game you are playing but it obviously isn't ME2

Also, not everyone bashes Liara due to how she behaves. Some of us actually understand it

i suppose if we focus on the good side we will get our DLC faster [relativistic view of time]-so how about being optimistic only today?:)

Sorry, but what kind of comforting is that? Especially if Liara is your LI? She's just opened her heart to you about how she's suffered with the guilt, pain and loneliness for two years, after she's sacrificed so much for you, and all Shepard can talk about is the mission? Not one thing to comfort Liara on a personal level, or reaffirm their love?

Also, Shepard is showing concern for Liara by throwing what happened to Benezia in her face? That's awful. Liara was forced to watch her mother die in absolute agony, struggling against the effects of indoctrination, and Shepard throws all that back in her face? That's awful, and it's commendable that Liara didn't burst into tears there and then after Shepard said that to her. It's the equivalent of noticing that your girlfriend has lost weight, and saying to her that she looks as skinny as her mother did when she was on her death bed dying of cancer. How is that supposed to be comforting Liara, especially if she's your LI?

But please, do carry on Mr. ad hominem. That is your MO, after all. You'll probably won't read this anyway, seeing as how you block the people that you flame as you don't have the stones to read the rebuttal. But I digress.
