I think what the Shadow Brokers dealing were with the collectors for Shepards body is one thing that should be explored in the future. I get the feeling the SB is one of the things that has been left to one side for ME3.



As for the ME2 squad, Id rather none of them returned. That way we could have a smaller, much better developed squad, with Ash/Kai being the only possible variable. Everyone else is 100% certain to be in everyones games.



Also, with how a lot of folks reacted to the ME1 LIs getting sidelined, and are now complaining about the ME2 squad potentially getting cameod, I think it would be nice to see how they cope with their favourite characters being sidelined.



Garrus and Tali are a must for me though. Both these characters NEED to be cameod. They didnt bring anything spectacular to ME2, could be dead, and dont look to be able to bring anything important in ME3 (especially given the aforementioned potential deadness).



If anyone from the ME2 squad is to carry over, Id prefer it to be a character that made their entrance IN ME2, that way its a nice two game setup.



I am still hopefuly however, with both their attitude in ME2 and the attitude of the devs, that the ME2 squad is likely to disperse before ME3 and ME3 squad will only have certain-to-be-alive characters who are fully developed.

That's a bit mean spirited, don't you think?  I mean, I totally understand where you're coming from.  I get a little tired of all the "I think they handled the ME1 characters just fine; they better not cameo the ME2 characters, that wouldn't make sense" comments too.  Its difficult for me to understand how they can rationalize those seemingly opposite thoughts, and don't see things from a "there but for the grace of the goddess go I" point of view.  But they don't.

Even so, its hard for me to wish such utter suckatude on anyone...even the ignorant.

With rumors of DLC relating to Liara and the Shadow Broker really flowing around right now, sooner or later, Bioware will have to address those rumors. After all, there can't be any DLC of that kind unless they say so. I will say though, that if they do say so, I'll check it out, for Liara.
