That would indeed be quite cute! Shepard and Liara could give each other pet names. Liara calls Shepard "Shep", and we can call Liara either "LiLi" or "My BBG". I think Liara would like those pet names!

On the one hand, she might take comfort in hearing her childhood nickname again from someone she loves. And on the other, she might associate it solely with her mother, who she has spent basically all her life trying to be different from.
But please, gosh, nothing like "my sweet blueberry lovemuffin" or whatever was suggested earlier. I allow myself to geek out a bit when it comes to Shepard and Liara, but that would just be going too far.

It seemed like it was special between them, like it was what Benezia called Liara every single night when she tucked her in when Liara was a little girl. It's something that should be reserved for Benezia and Liara's mother-daughter relationship.
Regardless of the fact that Liara shied away from Benezia's role and responsibilities as a powerful and influential Matriarch, Liara still loved her mother very much. She didn't hate or dislike Benezia at all, it's just that they became somewhat estranged and their relationship strained due to Liara's career choice, and the expectancy that she would follow in Benezia's footsteps.

LiLi is a sweet nickname, it just rolls off the tongue, very smooth, I like it!
Blueberry lovemuffin is definitely my favorite...... though it's not something my femShep would ever say, except as a joke. I could see her eventually falling into a routine of calling Liara "Lee" or maybe "Lia."LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
