Here's my summary:
Miranda and Liara actually interact in the first, second, and fourth issues of the comic.
In the first issue, they meet up and Miranda explains to Liara that they want to save Shepard's body from the Shadow Broker and ultimately the Collectors. It's all business here. The second issue continues this 'business' relationship.
In the fourth issue, we see more of Liara and Miranda together at the end, right after Shepard's body was brought back to Cerberus by Liara. There is a panel where we see Miranda with her hand on Liara's shoulder, comforting her and telling her what a good friend she is to Shepard. Miranda then explains to Liara Cerberus' real intentions with Shepard's body. They don't want it for burial, but for a chance to bring Shepard back to life. Liara has reservations about this but Miranda assures her about Shepard's prospects. Liara then asks Miranda what Cerberus will do about her missing friend Feron and Miranda basically tells Liara to go off and find him herself, since she needs to focus on something else while Shepard is being brought back to life. Liara leaves to do just that.
They seem to get along well and are on a first name basis throughout the comic story. It's odd they ignore each other if you bring Miranda along to meet Liara.
It's interesting to note that when you go to Illium Miaranda doesn't say a peep about Liara, but Kasumi does, and now that the comic is done, one would think Miaranda could have, would have, should have a comment about it all after Liara spills the beans in her office....more of biowastes lousy writing I fear
