I love photoshop, you posted that gif kitty and I had that Liara one made in 30 seconds. :P

Anyway I can find it for free?;)

Nah I'm just using the trial version. I might be able to obtain a free copy. I'll PM ya if I do. I might also try to snipe one on ebay for cheap.

I'd love to see Liara in ME3 as well, but what about this talk of her having a DLC for ME2???

Is a Liara T'soni DLC in the Works for ME2?

It's still just speculation at this point, though, there are a ton of articles coming out about it.

Most of us have known about the DLC files since the game shipped.  It means they planned for it, but will they follow through with those plans?  IDK.

Ah, yes, "Liara DLC."  We have dismissed that claim.  :P

Ah yes, "Liara DLC". The fabled DLC from BioWare expanding on the Liara T'Soni/Shadow Broker story arc. We have dismissed these claims. =]

Hi,

I realize the comic is about as popular as scale itch, but more Liara fans seem to have read it than most. It's my understanding that Liara and Miranda interacted a bit in the last issue. Anyone mind expanding on that for me? What are the circumstances? How well do they get along? Do I need to retire my dream ME3 scenario in which they decide that they deserve better than a Shep who's trying to pull "Can't I have both of you?" yet again, punch his lights out, and decide they'd make an awesome team?

I kid. Except for the part about them making a great team. Especially once Liara resolves her SB-related issues. I'm hoping for an older-and-wiser Liara by the end of ME3 who has lost her naievete, but has managed to shake off the temptation to be consumed by revenge. And I want her to have lots of interaction with the ME3 team, whoever they might be. I missed my squad banter in ME2.

This is your best bet. It's very condensed, but there's a ton of feedback afterwards.
Clicky.

It wasn't. But it also was not confirmed in any way whatsoever. All these "news" are all based on the same old things, which are mainly some files found in the PC version. But while those files do exist, that doesn't have to mean anything.

Here's my summary:

Miranda and Liara actually interact in the first, second, and fourth issues of the comic.

In the first issue, they meet up and Miranda explains to Liara that they want to save Shepard's body from the Shadow Broker and ultimately the Collectors. It's all business here. The second issue continues this 'business' relationship.

In the fourth issue, we see more of Liara and Miranda together at the end, right after Shepard's body was brought back to Cerberus by Liara. There is a panel where we see Miranda with her hand on Liara's shoulder, comforting her and telling her what a good friend she is to Shepard. Miranda then explains to Liara Cerberus' real intentions with Shepard's body. They don't want it for burial, but for a chance to bring Shepard back to life. Liara has reservations about this but Miranda assures her about Shepard's prospects. Liara then asks Miranda what Cerberus will do about her missing friend Feron and Miranda basically tells Liara to go off and find him herself, since she needs to focus on something else while Shepard is being brought back to life. Liara leaves to do just that.

They seem to get along well and are on a first name basis throughout the comic story. It's odd they ignore each other if you bring Miranda along to meet Liara.

Makes me believe they didn't do a very good job making the comic coincide with the game.

It's interesting to note that when you go to Illium Miaranda doesn't say a peep about Liara, but Kasumi does, and now that the comic is done, one would think Miaranda could have, would have, should have a comment about it all after Liara spills the beans in her office....more of biowastes lousy writing I fearImage IPB

Thanks, guys. Sounds like there's some frustrating discrepancies between what happened in ME2 vs. the comic, particularly as regards Liara's attitude towards Shepard being dead. On the whole, I think I'd prefer the comics interpretation from the sound of it.I disliked "I couldn't let you go" intensely and it seems she's more philosophical in Redemption. I choose to be charitable and chalk it up to differences in writing staff, but there should have definitely been more continuity between game and comic.
