What kind of armor Lia wears by the way?
I never saw that type in game.

Looking at your keeper theories, have you noticed how the keepers act differently in ME2? I've noticed that they actually look around at Shepard now, especially that one that's right near where you first land in the Citadel, the C-Sec customs area, near where you recruit Kasumi. Now, we're told and shown in ME1 that the keepers are all but catatonic, and do not interact with other species at all. And now, we've got a keeper that looks around at Shepard, obviously focusing it's attention on Shepard. Why? Does this have any significance?
Also, saying that Liara is headed down a dark path is a bit of a simplification, I feel. If you analyse what Liara says in ME2, and her actions, then you realise that she's fully aware of what she's doing, that she hates being an information broker and views her actions only as a necessity, that she's trying to limit any bloodshed and doesn't allow her morals, principals or values to be compromised, and that alot of what she's done and her chief motive is her love for Shepard.
Calling it "revenge" is a bit of a simplification too. I'd say it's more like Liara feeling the need to redeem herself, that she feels that if she takes out the SB, that she will ease herself of her grief and pain, her sorrow. The fact that we're artificially prevented from comforting Liara in ME2 speaks volumes. Her thought processes aren't an "eye for an eye". It's much deeper than that, and Liara isn't losing herself at all in you analyse it.

There must be FemShep fans here...
I made a sig pic for fans of both Liara and FemShep. FemShep really could use your support. She needs some more promotion, she needs her male movement animations replaced by female ones, and so on.
Click the above image for instructions how to add it to your signature, to make it clickable, and to remove the orange border around the image. There are dozens of other FemShep sig pics in that thread too.

If Frozen approves Les, I'll update my sig thread with 2 versions. One will link to our fanclub, the other, the femshep support group.

Thank you so much.
I am a Liara fan myself. 13 ME1 playthroughs, 5 ME2 ones and always stayed loyal.

There are alot of FemShep fans amongst Liara's fanbase, myself included. If it's okay with you, may I repost this in Liara's various fangroups to give it more attention? I'll give you full credit, of course.
Wow..... that's impressive! I have a comparable number of ME1 playthroughs, but I could only manage one ME2 playthrough. No Liara = no fun for me.AngryFrozenWater wrote...

For an Expansion? Liara saves Shepard's life regardless of whether you romance her or not. She asks for your help in Illium regardless of whether she is Shepard's LI, or not. Her reason for taking on the Shadow Broker was because of her friend they killed and because she loves Shepard regardless of whether it is requited love or not. What she feels for Shepard is there whether Shepard accepts it or not... As a writer, there a multitude of ways to encompass all the possible ME1 and ME2 endings into an Expansion that is mainly about her and the Shadow broker. I believe scmadsen is right in that Liara is "canon", though the writers probably will work to give as much to the other LI's...jlb524 wrote... What if Liara didn't romance Shepard, though? There has to be more driving her to take on the Shadow Broker beyond just dealing with grief over losing Shepard.

Hello again everyone. Thanks for not running me out the thread last night.
I don't know if this has been discussed before or how controversial it is, but I hope our choice regarding Liara in ME3 doesn't come down to "she takes over the SB's operation and becomes completely evil" or "she reverts to her ME personality and role completely and irrevocably." She's done quite well for herself on Illium considering her lack of experience, so she's got some natural skill at being an information broker. Imagine what she could do with the SBs resources. She could be a tremendous force for good. I find the idea of her exercising that degree of power, in her own right, very appealing. For the record, I want Miranda to take over Cerberus and Tali to become an admiral. I'm not trying to write anyone out or diminish the romance They can still have their romance with Shep (if applicable) but they're my favorite characters and I want them doing important things that have nothing to do with him/her, too.
