Well, Shepard got the racial and genetic memory of the Protheans, that would span thousands of years. It would be a bit of overload, so of course there would be questions at first, before being able to process it all. Shiala even says as much. Now on the other hand, Liara is only 106, that's alot less information to deal with, and I'm sure they melded more then once, so wouldn't that kind of reinforce the information.

Shepard shares the memory of the Beacon, and Liara knows it right away. So while "larger" memories might take more time to process, it's there. Think of what happens to Jack in SG1 with that computer that downloads all that informantion into him. That's what Shepard got from Shiala.

Hmm... that does make sense.  Again, though, we're filling in the blanks some.  It'd be nice if we knew for sure what a meld does.

Still, I think Liara would do best to just, y'know, talk about things, right?

btw, the trade paperback for Redemption comes out in July. Trades are where the money is at for comics, so if there is any Liara DLC I would gamble that it will be released after that release.

Bioware has also publicly expressed doing some expansion work with her in the past, firming up the foundations of such suspicions. 

I would have liked them to provide actual documentation... i.e. a link to the post where a dev said that...  I believe it!  I just would rather see their exact wording, versus second/third hand.

1. A dev said months ago on the BW boards they want to flesh Liara's story out to free her up enough for ME 3. 

Of course this was just a comment in the boards but if I were going to write something like that?  I would at least provide a URL to where a dev said that.  Again, I fully believe it but I want exact wording, again.

2. Bioware has been talking more and more about an expansion for ME 2. 
(if they weren't going to do one, they would STOP talking about it.)

Again from the same comment and it seems very vague, as in the poster has no real example of BioWare "talking" about an expansion either.  I have seen plenty of fans talking about it... and I think they mentioned it once... maybe. somewhere... out there... over the rainbow.  Anyhow, All in all, thank you for sharing this JamieCOTC.  I pray for the Force and the Angels for this to be the truth... I definitely would be ecstatic about an expansion for ME2 all about Liara and the Shadow Broker... with a headshot to that Turian councilor too... preferably before he gets to utter the word "reaper" to me again.

Anyone else see this image?  Might make for an interesting reason why the Reapers missed Earth fifty thousand years ago... besides Cheron being a ball of ice.

I actually theorise that BioWare or EA themselves are leaking this information, or at least pointing these game websites in the right direction and "encouraging" them to report on it. Reason being is that they want to create some hype and excitement for Liara's DLC.

I agree with you, I think BW is intentionally "encouraging" the websites to report on the suppsoed DLC.  There have been a  lot of optimistic media attention on the Liara DLC lately (a very good thing!).  And I can't wait!  Maybe they will announce it E3?  June 15th needs to arrive faster!!!  And my current quarter ends around that time too!  Start of summer vacation + Liara DLC announcement = :wub::wub::wub:

I check the Liara Fanclub everyday to see if there has been an official announcement, and I type "Liara DLC" into google news often. But I think we can expect something at E3, not before.

I want a dance from her in my cabin...I want to take her dancing in her DLC...if we get the romance pack, yep, I want to take her dancing...I want to dance with her again in ME3...I miss dancing with Liara in ME1. Shepard needs an upgrade though. Needs to learn how to dance like the ravers in Afterlife and Dark Star.
