I'm about at Virmire (actually just putting it off doing side missions) in ME1. Does anyone remember what are the top armors for Liara and Tali and where to find them? I'm guessing it may be Colossus, but I don't know if a light Col armor exists? I know I found one for Tali, but couldn't find one for Liara.

Anyone?

I had a light Colossus armor for my Shepard.  I think I gave it to Liara when I found a Medium one.

Light Colossus armor does in fact exist, even in Quarian.  It's available as a reward for Bring Down the Sky in fact, as is Light, Medium, and Heavy human armor, which of course works on Liara.  (Probably to balance the fact that drops of non-turian/krogan Colossus armor are kind of scarce on the ground.)

The male/female Shepard models are different sizes, so maybe they didn't have time to fix up both of the cutscenes?
Still, seems like something is missing; it really stands out since the rest of the game is pretty polished. I wonder what happened.

Yeah, they either had something there that they later decided to remove (and forgot to take it out of the FemShep scene) or they were trying to add a little 'easter egg' but forgot to do it in the MaleShep scene.  With their reputation of taking stuff out, I opt for the former explanation ;)

I am not expecting too many shocking revelations for the third issue. Are not the comics pretty short?

25 pages or so I think though not alot goes on in each page. I'm not expecting much from the 3rd issue either at this point.

I can't wait to see the last words of Feron, I can imagine them now.

"But Shepard, I helped Liara get your body back. When I asked her to sit on my lap, I didn't mean it like that." - Last Words Of Feron - aka F**khead The Magic Dragon.

How can you fit shocking revelations in 25 pages, often times with only a few panels per page?  I hope they aren't going to shoe horn in some controversial stuff just to blow us away...

Ah yes, Drell lovers. We have dismissed that claim.

You'll actually let Feron get out some last words? I hope a renegade interrupt appears so I can shoot him a soon as I see him. Or I'll let Legion shoot him cause you know, Legion deserves it for being replaced by that worthless drell. :P

I think it is more fufilling to stare that drell straight in the eye before I pull the trigger and his brains fly out, just so he knows you killed him right before the end. :D (Notice that the thought of that makes me smile).
Of course this will be the way my paragon (I actually don't have any renegade Sheps...) Shep deals with seeing him, she won't let him live past his last words though. No one tries to make a pass at Liara and lives to tell about it.
That would have been cool for Legion to be Liara's sidekick, he would have been more helpful. I guess I will let Legion kneecap him in both legs first.

It's going to be: Liara invades base with Feron. Shadow Broker escapes with body. She gives chase.

Perhaps she gets captured and Feron saves her. Or he holds off the baddies so she can chase the body. Or she choses to chase the body instead of helping him. It's more likely that will be in part 4, though I can see it happening at the end of part 3.

Really, there isn't much else that can happen. We already know how it ends, and each comic isn't very long. Part 4 likely includes Cerberus as a major part, with Miranda and the doctors on the cover, so it probably covers her consternation over giving the body up and having a chance to see Shepard again.
There will probably be an element of her finding out the Shadow Broker kills and eats babies and/or sells them to the Collectors if he's not hungry.

The weird thing is: no matter what happens, Liara ends up knowing Feron for what, like a week? That's really going to make her obsessed for 2 years? Sure, she could feel incredibly guilty and I definitely think that would weigh heavily on her character, but it seems like an unbelievably short amount of time for such an intense reaction. It's gotta be about Shepard or her own guilt - Feron seems like he must be a minor piece.

Well we know that Liara and Feron travel to one of the Shadow Broker's bases in issue 3, so perhaps 3 will end on something of a cliffhanger regarding the SB, and allow the big reveal regarding him to occur pretty early in issue 4. This will allow ample time for Liara to recover Shepard's body, Feron being captured and Liara handing Shepard's body over to Cerberus.

Yeah, I have a story written and everything about Liara but I have a feeling it will be negated come Wednesday.  Then again, it may not be.

WOW.

(Insert Offended Evil Casper from the Nostalgia Critic here.)

Are we actually planning a character's slow and painful murder on the basis that he might have stolen our blue goddess away from us?  (Not did, but might.)  In addition to whoever it was that threatened to murder Thane for being the same species as Feron (and when did Chief Williams sneak onto this thread, anyway?).   I mean, I can't be the only Paragon here... right?

But from what I've heard of this Feron, I have no anxieties about him being a rival.  At all.

Well, it really doesn't make any sense that Liara would hook up with a random thug (even if he might actually be a nice guy) a week after she meets him. Especially not after she'd been sleeping with the galaxy's biggest hero and is currently looking for his/her body. To fit the timeline, Feron must get captured during the search for the body and it takes Liara half of ME1 to come to terms with the fact that she's in love with Shepard and actually act on it.

It would be ridiculous to the point of being unbelievable, I think. Plus it directly conflicts with her claiming she couldn't let Shepard go.

Yeah, I know that there is no chance of Liara and Feron having a thing going on, the Lovely Liara would never do such a thing.
I am just joking around. It passes the time until the comic.
He is still F**khead the Magic Dragon though.

Which one do you like better...black and white (sorta) or the color version? My latest attempt at Liara...I know I know...I'm still trying though, that has to account for something. :)

No doubt, Feron is a major dip**** , no comparison with the hero of the galaxy! Plus, in the first two Redemptions Liara just seems to be putting up with Feron's presence to get Shepard back. She is obsessed. She has pretty much spent the last two years since you died obsessed with one thing or another...getting you back, then revenge!
Maybe by the time you reunite with her in Illium she is a little resentful of you sending her to the escape pod and then dying in the first place? Her anger shines through when you pick Renegade options in the conversations (just to see, as I play Paragon) she swaers at you and pounds on the table ! Image IPB

It's better than anything I could do.
I like the color version, you can see her beautiful asari blues.

She seems frustrated with the renegade response because she can't tell you exactly what happens. That makes sense - you risk your life to resurrect someone and the first thing they say is "man, you are crazy!" or "no time for your childish vendettas, gotta kill aliens!" Of course she'd be kind of angry and frustrated.

In the comics she basically says she's angry at herself for not being able to do anything as Shepard died. I don't think she's angry at Shepard directly - that doesn't make a lot of sense. Guilt and anger at herself is really the best explanation for her character that we have thus far. We'll have to see if the comics provide better ones, as those two alone aren't really enough.

I think they would be fine if Shepard were permanently dead, but him/her coming back to life (and the fact that Liara knows this) really weakens her motivation.

@Raanz: I like the one in colour better, but that is because I enjoy looking at her blueness.
Black and white is great as well, as long as it has Liara in it, I'm game.
Sexy Blue Goddess FTW! :wub::wub::wub:
Great job at drawing those, I love the outfit :wub::wub: (you don't even want to see my sad excuse for drawing abilities).

So, you are in love with a beautiful blue alien. What earth delicacy or personal favorite would he/she try to introduce to said lovely bundle of blue? Provided it is non-toxic and such.

I'd go for hot lemon tea and butter shortbread cookies? That or dark chocolate....

Talking about he shall not be named makes me sad....
