I see what you mean. I think the green goes really well with Liara's labcoat, and I can imagine how it would clash with Liara's blues, greens and whites if the background was Therum's red/brown colour.

I really do miss the labcoat. Don't get me wrong, the dress is very nice and I like how Liara keeps the green and white colours. But the labcoat just seems more "Liara" to me, it's more like her to wear something like that. Showcases her knowledgeable and intellectual personality.

Yeah that is one thing that turned me on about her (in game Image IPB)
She showcased her intelligence, and an intelligent woman is very attractive to me.

The question is. Will she wear that dress or her old outfit when she's back on the Normandy. Of course I have to say, I'd prefer she wear nothing at all, and stay in Shepard's cabin...but I guess when she does have to dress, I'd...while I love her in the dress...I'd like to see her in her old outfit, because I think she was happier then. Perhaps she needs something new though.

I think it all depends on whether squadmates will have equipable armour again in ME3. That way, Liara will have her own casual clothes to wear whilst on board the Normandy.

In ME1, the six squaddies each had their own casual clothing. Wrex, Garrus and Tali wore generic armour, Ash and Kaidan wore Alliance casual uniforms, and Liara had her labcoat. If they continue with the ME2 approach to squadmate attire, then Liara will probably wear on the Normandy what she wears in the field, most likely armour. If they go back to the ME1 system though, I'd like to see her wear her labcoat again, as she'd probably be doing research, perhaps whilst in Shepard's cabin. ^_^

Then again, she could wear something complete different whilst on the Normandy. I don't think it would be the dress, that serves it's purpose as being Liara's formal attire for when she's working, kind of like a business suit. It wouldn't be necessary to wear it on the Normandy. Maybe it will be something we've never seen before.
