Hey, remember when this thread was about Liara?
Lia is staring at all of us... probably including myself especially ... for getting off the topic.

ON TOPIC! I'll go with this ...
I'm expecting her move set in ME3 to be strongly based on the Adepts with everyone's favorite concept for a special move as a special move. 'Espressolarity' -- stuffs people biotically into coffee cups. Long recharge, boss and miniboss can evade, but insta-kill.
Sounds alright?

I wonder what Liara would say to a femShep (or dudeShep) who asked her to marry her (him)?

I think she'd be happy and agree. I feel they are already Bondmates. I think Liara would respect the Human custom.

This is a very 'les' question, which I mean in the best possible way.
Way back when, we were actually skipping to what femShep and Liara would wear to their wedding -- I personally thought 'both in a uniform of some sort, or both in an understated wedding dress'. But have we ever talked about how she would react to the proposal?
I think she'd maintain her composure ... for about a milisecond, then "Oh, I accept!" with a hug and an enthusiastic kiss. Though part of me has it:
"... ..."
"Oh, Shepard...""Oh Shepard yes!"

I dont know how many she has compared to Kaidan, but a lot of her moves were very useful. Lift and stasis in particular for me.

Liara's a better biotic than Kaidan is. She has Singularity! Singularity!
Liara's a very powerful biotic, probably significantly more powerful than most asari her age. This could possibly be due to genetics (as Benezia was very powerful), training (Benezia would have trained her from youth), and/or because she has had practice using them in combat, where most asari her age have not.

And Id assume that Liara got some training when she was young too.

Liara is, gameplay wise, the best biotic in the game bar none. That'd probably be accounted for in story by her superior genetics regarding Benezia and definitely due to her need to practice them when raiders hit her dig sites.
But gameplay wise she's clearly so good because she can max most talents in a single playthrough -- they gave her electronics, by my math, just to give her something to take the last few levels.

Not that I know of.... it's just a high-res screenshot I found. All I did was crop it and drain the background color to make Liara stand out better. Here's a link to a larger version, if you're interested.Somebody1003 wrote...

Singularity bar none is the best combat power in the game. The destruction and range it has on the environment is not something that is paralleled by the other biotic abilities. Sure Kaidan and Wrex have biotics but they are not on the same level as Liara's. And personally I prefer the pure classes in ME 1 over the others as they tend to be more powerful (and honestly I am not a fan of the combat oriented squadmates, so I ultimately prefered Tali/Liara/Kaidan).
I was/am pretty upset that Singularity has been nerfed so much in ME 2

So was I! Someone start a thread to bring back the original singularity! lol
I have a ball in ME1 with Liara and her powerful singularity. Sometimes I will literally lmao as she sends foes flying in every different direction!

I usually didn't play much with the combat oriented squad mate either.

Just put on ME1 real quick and saw singularity. So much better in ME1 then in ME2!jlb524 wrote...
I would guess Liara would have Singularity as a power if she's in ME3 as a squad mate. Hopefully it won't be as nerfed as it was in ME2. With Singularity, Liara completely dominate the battle-field in ME1.

Liara really is the best biotic then.

I still remember the first time I saw Singularity up close. WAY up close. Everyone's down and POP! She casts one right in front of the crowd and Tali and Alyna (then a Soldier) practically jump out of their suits! As do I at home, mind you.
