Okay, so the comic comes out today right? I think we have prepared ourselves pretty well the last couple of weeks to receive just about anything at this point without freaking out too much. Who got their copy and what's the scoop?

Yeah, I would love to take Liara to Thessia, she could tell you about different places on the planet.
It would be fun to do random things with her. (We should be able to take Liara out on a date whenever we feel like it).
More Asari is always a good thing . Liara is definitely the best though. (I love Liara no matter what, she is my absolute favorite character).

Agreed, it would also be fun to take her to Earth.

Its really cool to go to the moon and get out of the Mako with your party and look up at the Earth. Its like look Liara there's earth....sorry we can set down and look at how pretty parts of it are.

Hah, I just did that part last night, had Liara and Tali with me.  I always think of that as a really cool moment for all of them.

What's the deal with the tribal like tattoos on some aliens ---Turian, Asari, Salarian. Is it a sign of authority, a personal choice, etc? I've never seen a codex on it. The council has them, and a bunch of Asari have them, but some look like actual face tattoos while others look like ritual paint?

Turians face marks are to show what tribe they came from and is basically a symbol of their honor. If I recall correctly unmarked Turians are best avoided because they can't be trusted.

Very doubtful, since the whole point of her being an NPC is so she survives to ME3.

That's an interesting theory.  Which Asari of note have facial markings?

Aria has tattoos. Shiala has markings. The councilwoman has markings.

Aria might have tattoos because she's an underworld baddie, though. It might not be related to her being an Asari.



Not that the theory is wrong. But there are certainly other possible explainations.

There is a bunch of minor asari that don't have any facial markings, like Alestia, Seryna, Mallene, Nassana, the receptionist on the citadel. There is also many on Illium without them (I think).

Really?  For some reason I haven't noticed the proliferation of facial markings.  I'll have to go back and look.

Why do I have the feeling that when we visit earth, it will be to repel reapers, esp if they decide to make a strait shot right out the door. Maybe that will be the opening level to 3. Its gonna be ugly.
