interesting im surprised we havent talked about this before but hey theres a time for everything. i think the key thing here is not to underestimate the shadow broker, he could have more grip on everything than you may think.
I honestly think the SB is already dead or has gotten real sloppy.
Look at Fist on Omega. If you let him live, he just goes waltzing around the Galaxy, no harm done? He SHOULD be dead.
Liara T'Soni embarasses the SB in front of a particularly dangerous client and yet she still lives. The only thing the SB supposedly did was to attach an Observer to her.
Finally look at Shepard. There was one pathetic attempt to capture him (Purgatory) but that could be a general Collector bounty as they have their own resources to give out.
Either the SB is completely indoctrinated/taken over or he is dead and Harbringer has "assumed control" over his network. Why would they need the middleman of the SB anymore when I am sure the Reapers could interface with whatever technology he may have used to control his network?
I've always said that Liara is only alive because she has a connection to Shepard that either the SB or the Reapers want to manipulate to their advantage. That would be the logical conclusion, of course, as even if she is not your LI, Shepard "owes" her and is likely to see her and help her in her "revenge quest"
To be honest, the reason above is probably why TIM discourages you from seeing Liara or trusting her. To get involved in her quest would be a huge distraction from what he wanted you to do and perhaps he senses the same sort of "strings" being pulled.

Has anyone else had difficulty getting into subsequent playthroughs of ME and ME2? I've played them both like 3-4 times though and I just dropped an ME plathrough like halfway through last month and haven't touched it since. Not even the Blue Goddess has enticed me back into it
I've been playing DA:O and I started a new file to take through to Awakening, but even that is wearing on me and I'm just drudging through to get to the expansion.justinnstuff wrote...

Yeah I'm just playing some other games at the moment so I don't permanently burn myself out on ME games.

GROOVY!
Makes me want to listen to 2000 Light Years from Home.
I am pretty much done with ME2. Unless more DLC(Liara, plz) comes out, I prob won't touch it again. ME1 will be worth playing several more times, but I'd like to save it.mrbeavis19 wrote...

i somewhat feel the same way, the reason i said what i said is because even after me1 and me2 we really dont know that much about the shadow broker in general. me2 did portray him to be of a lesser power/losing some power i would say, like you had mentioned he/she is getting sloppy, i wouldnt say that is entirely the case, but the whole ordeal with shepards body may have caught the shadow broker in a bit of a situation tough to handle and he/shes struggle to maintain balance of their information business.

I've completed ME2 twice, and ME seven times. (two of them being after ME2 was released) Right now i'm on ME going through as a Adept, and then i'll carry it onto ME2. After that I need to play through ME with this same character again, get two allay achievements, make a new character and get another two. (plus also getting all the Biotic and Tech achievements) and then i'll go through Insanity on my level 60 soldier and also get the last two allay achievements... then i'll max out ME2.
Yes, I have alot of gaming to do, it's going to last me a lifetime!

Ugh I can't seem to go to sleep... I took it down off of photobucket because everyone voted for the slower one. I can redo the fast one and put it back up for ya. I prefer the slightly faster one too.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could do that.
