You know what? I've never seen Liara advocate sacrificing the Council in that scene, as I've never taken Kaidan along for the end of the game. It just sounds plain weird to me hearing Liara give the Renegade advice, plus seeing Liara shoot Saren in the head!

I took Kaidan once without realising, and vowed never to take him again. It was the most weird, jarring and OOC experience Ive seen in ME1. It was one of the games major letdowns that the roles the characters occupied were just their personality flavoring a paragon or renegade view rather than their own.

Regardless, that's a nice little detail. Beats having to click on points in the landscape to get a comment from your companions.

I might want see "renegade" Liara should I play ME 1 again, though sacrificing Ashley isn't very appealing. Come to think of it, it's not worth it.

The ME1 squadmates operate on a kind of "tier" system when it comes to giving Paragon and Renegade advice throughout the game. If a character is more "Paragon", they'll give the Paragon advice and if they're more "Renegade", they'll give the Renegade advice. I think the order, from Paragon to Renegade goes like this:

Kaidan
Liara
Tali
Garrus
Wrex
Ashley

Therefore, if you have Kaidan and Liara in your party, Liara will give the Renegade advice. It's a very odd thing to see! Plus, Liara will also shoot Saren's corpse in the head at the end, too, and Kaidan will be the one to radio back to Shepard.

Renegade Liara just doesn't feel or seem right.

If you take Kaidan and Liara on Peak 15,it would be Kaidan who suggest to kill the rachni queen.

Thats because Rachni queen is a special case. Liara will always argue for releasing the queen and wrex will always argue against.

I'd say wait until there are images to accompany it. That way, the text dialogue and the artwork will really compliment each other well, and will help to bring the script to life the first time it's read by the reader.

Just my opinion, though. Feel free to go about it as you wish, MDK.

Not sure if I'll get the whole thing done tonight - I'm going to make the line-art as detailed as I always do - that way I can use that to create the full-colour version later.

Though I may just do rough backgrounds for tonight's version, and then do some accurate ones at a later date.

Yeah, like I said above there are some instances where, regardless of whether Kaidan is your other squadmate, Liara will always give the Paragon advice, like with the Rachni Queen as you described. I think she also expresses disapproval if Shepard states that she intends to kill the colonists in Zhu's Hope on Feros.

As I recall, with the Zhu's Hope colonists - if you choose to kill them, Liara says something to the effect of "It is regrettable there is no other way"

Hmm....probably going to get swamped here - but I want to build up a list of future drawing/fic ideas.

So - anything you want to see from me - whether it's Liara on her own or with Freya - give me a prompt or idea, and I'll add it to my ever-growing list of things to do...

Currently I definately want to do a drawing with Freya and Liara's daughter, so that's already being planned - but I'm open to any new ideas. Hopefully my stuff is familiar enough for you guys to know the sort of things I'm good at doing

so i've got 1 idea for start-it's single-Liara one:
how about Liara sitting in some wide-open garden [on some bench maybe] a stone statute illustrating Reapers defeat, and Liara taking some drawings of it? or something in that style?
