I wouldn't be either. I think the "alien lesbian pron" controversy really got to them.
I don't know, to me they seemed quite defiant, what with that message to those who stirred up the controvesy contained in the PC version of Bring Down the Sky.
Plus, they did say that the Liara romance would continue and conclude in ME3. I really do doubt they're going to sweep it under the rug.

The DLC's going to be the Jacob captain's hat alternate appearance pack! Possibly including...Grunt in a one piece and Legion finally getting his hole fixed.
Wouldn't surprise me if that's what it is... exciting stuff!! <_<

I doubt she would slap Shepard in the face, or something so physical. Well, I don't know, maybe a Shepard who chose Renegade dialogue options after it's revealed that they were unfaithful.
Liara getting angry at shep if s/he cheated will just add more fuel to the haters to make them believe she selfish.
Thats my therory.

well he banned a few others, and since I had contacted him way before he started banning, he just told me to cool it a bit. But I feel good because I knew I was being attacked and finally justice was served... but there was Liara-mate casualty ... poor Marcin...
he did have me laughing though. He said "note to self -- never join in with Delta in a spam thread"

As horrible as this sounds, I want Liara to act like it completely breaks her. I want her to react with an absolutely pained facial expression, and with a quivering voice excuse herself before leaving. I want a non-faithful Shepard to absolutely leave her distraught.
Cheaters should feel guilty and regretful, not justified.

Yes, they were. But that's how this PR game works. Once you're under fire like they were, it's better to fight back. And it was a very easy battle, as there was simply no substance on the side of the attackers. However, once the smoke had cleared, I don't doubt that the poor developers were clearly told: "Not again!" What you see in ME 2 is the result. Besides, EA wasn't breathing down their neck back when the ME 1 thing happened.

I doubt they will bring up the cheating since they promised "effects" for that in ME3,also its safe to say if DLC should come around that early it will be set before the Collector base
Overall though I think they will announce Appearance pack 2 its pretty much the most likely thing and maybe a new armor or yet another heavy weapon to throw onto the pile of unused ones
Should they really announce a Liara related DLC I guess I should expect the worst you cant go wrong with that

Possibly, but I don't that it's EA pulling any strings with regards to holding back on S/S content. Homosexual couples and gay adoption is possible in The Sims, after all. If anything, EA would welcome any controvesies as any publicity = more money, and the only thing EA cares about is lining their own pockets and generating more income.
What was it specifically that bugged Faux News about the Liara romance? Was it that it was sex with an alien, that it was a lesbian relationship, or a combination of the two? It can't be the former, as there are even more alien relationships in ME2. Plus, FemSheps can still engage in the Kelly romance in ME2.
I don't think that the Liara romance will be swept under the rug in ME3. I think it literally is a case of Liara herself being sidelined,, and her character and romance will return in full, whether it's in DLC or ME3. They just want to avoid any controvesies with the current installment.

The lighting is just awful in some of Liara's ME2 pics...I don't know how she can stand working in that freakin' office with those lights all day.
Why did they have that stupid shadow that's obscuring half of Liara's face most of the time?
Plus, there's also blue lighting from behind Liara's head, and her computer gives off an orange glow which shines on her face too. They all combine together to make her look really awful in some ME2 pics.
Well, awful is a bit of an exaggerration. But definitely not as good as she did in ME1.

Yep. The aim of making Liara look alot less physically attractive in ME2. Ever noticed that they've made her pupils smaller, too? This is probably due to the fact that humans find larger pupils more attractive. It's why people like candlelit dinners, as the dim light makes their partner look alot more attractive.
Making Liara's pupils smaller is just another way of trying to turn people away from her.
