BioWare should just copy some fan fiction and put it into ME 3. Saves them time for more important things, like designing more heavy weapons or something.

Alot of our theories for what happened at the end of Redemption were better thought out and more believeable for Liara than what was actually shown. <_<

Sad but true..... <_<

I really liked the Liara works for TIM theory.

EDIT: WE DID IT! WE'RE ON PAGE 900! "Opens champagne"

Is Freya doing something under Liara's desk?

Um...wow... :crying:

First of all, let me reiterate one thing: nearly all of my writings are "stream of consciousness" and typically don't have much "planning" to them. I get an idea for something to write, and then just fall into it, re-reading it a couple of times while in the character's head and fixing bits here and there before posting.

That said...you guys kinda make me sympathize with those who accuse some of us Liara fans of "reading too much into things". "Pretty damning of the asari"? C'mon guys, it's just one letter from one bitter-as-hell old fart who's in-game commentary already shows she has little love left for her own species at this point. She loves Liara dearly, but she knows that interposing herself into Liara's life would be needlessly complicated for the both of them. That's as much an expression of love as any other, knowing when to back off or keep one's distance for the sake of the person one loves. Also, keep in mind that Aethyta probably doesn't know the full situation between Shepard and Liara...

...aw, hell. I'm not going to try and defend my own fanfiction anymore. You either like it or you don't like it... B)

Oh don't get upset, Goodwood! I like the letter!

I think the only part myself and york have a problem with is the "We asari don't value families as much as you do", which is Aethyta describing their species as a whole. If you'd said "I don't values families as much as others", then it makes alot more sense and you're conveying the point you're trying to make alot better, and it doesn't seem like you're making an assumption that's contradicted in-game about the asari as a whole.

That said, the idea of Aethyta being Liara's father is an interesting one. I prefer Aria myself. :D

Hahaha! I love it! Freya needs to stop "distracting" Liara whilst she's working!

But that's the thing...Aethyta is just one asari; isn't she entitled to have (contradictory) opinions about her own species? Example: Joe thinks that humans are inherently good, while Jack thinks that humans are inherently evil. Simple, eh?

Actually - deadly serious question - Les suggested I write Liara in some sort of sexy lingerie for Freya......just what sort of stuff do people think our favourite asari would choose?

Well something better then the stuff they wear in Chora's den or Afterlife for sure.;)

I understand, but unless it's somewhat hinted it's very easy to misconstrue. It's presented as fact, and not opinion. Hence why york brought up the point initially.

Something lacey, sensual, seductive, somewhat revealing, but also tasteful so it's still "Liara".

Also, I think it should be white, as it'll compliment Liara's blue skin perfectly. ^_^

Then perhaps just preface the sentence with "I think", or anything that indicates that this is her relative opinion.  As it is right now, it seems as if she's stating it as if it's objective fact, thus causing the confusion I encountered.

lol! That was cute, MDK. Maybe that's what needs to be done to get Liara back on the Normandy where she belongs. ;)

So, why does Liara have eyebrows while so many other asari don't?

Well since asari don't usually seem to have hair, it's just markings in the shape of eyebrows, right?

Oh, and I IZ excited that there's going to be further DLC no matter what it is.  Even if it's just going to tell us if the improvement trend is continuing...

I'm creating a "Shadow Broker"  Magic card.   I'm having trouble figuring out the exact phrasing of an ability that allows the creature's owner to search a target player's graveyard for one card in specific, John Shepard.  If it's in the graveyard, it's removed from the game.  This ability cannot be used if Dr. Liara T'Soni is in play.

What I have is:

TAP:  Search target player's graveyard for card "John Shepard".   If "John Shepard" is in that player's graveyard, remove it from the game.   This ability cannot be used if "Dr. Liara T'Soni"  is in play.

Does anyone know what the exact phrasing of an ability like that would be?

What's on the Horizon?

Other than Collectors abducting colonists?
Well, we got tons of awesome updates for you!

It could be a pun for what happened on Horizon, i.e., you ran into Ashley and Kaidan and they were upset with you for joining up with Cerberus.  The DLC might involve either of those two and the Alliance?  I'd hope so :D
