I can see that, in all honesty. She is the character who is the most well liked IMO at Bioware (see that list of reasons I wrote up), and the fact that she has to survive makes her an excellent canidate for the front cover. I makes sense that they would wait until the last game to put their favorite (again IMO) character on the front cover as ME3 is the most important.

So on the ME1 cover were Garrus and Ash Sheps "Covermates", right?

ME2 had Miranda and Thane ,or?

So for ME 3 ... Liara will definitely be alive. She'd make a good view on the cover. Maybe or the take 2 new characters, which might also be possible. The probably can't take squad mates that could have died in ME1 / 2 so...

Speculations are a bit difficult here due to the lack of information...

I did Paramour with Miranda but immediately deleted the save. It was hard to do Paramour. I just flipped off my moniter when the scene came up and waited a while.

I doubt it. I'm going to do a runthrough for both Miranda and Tali on an import w/o an LI just so I can see how it pans out in ME3.

Problem is that I don't have a single ME playthrough without Liara as my LI.

No lynching because Jack is awesome!  I don't like her romance, though.

I have the Paramour b/c I played all the female romances real quick with a FemShep using the save game editor.   I wanted to see if any were worth taking a single Shepard through and playing.  I determined they were not and now I can't remove the damn Paramour achievement!!!

Honestly... i will be rather surprised if any ME 1 character will again show at ME 3 cover.

They might put for example Jack and Grunt as Sheploo squadies...



And for the god sake.... this silence from Bioware side starting to be simply ridiculous...

That crazy silence is one of the reasons why i expected practicly NOTHING from both incoming DLC and later on ME3... because i don't like when someone cheated me whit fake promises.

That's why i will wait for imput from this forum if ME 3 will be worth buying and plays.

That's the tricky part... once you get that achievement he will stay there unless you reinstall whole game and what that's mean i don't need to say.

That's why all my Sheps i imorted to ME 2 have still gray Paramour.... Sheeesh... my shep looking more like Jedi whit "love is forbiden" rule than Human from Milky way <_<... only because our "dear" Bioware decided to get rid our favorite Blue Rose from any possibility to become a squaddie..

Well when comes to Bioware - Edmonton... everything is possible.
Even that they can place TiM on cover just to ****** us more...<_<

In my opinion with Liara as an LI her reaction to Shepard in ME2, aside from the guilt/ remorse she tells Shephard about, can be explained or accounted for in one or two of two ways. 1: she's not sure if Shephard is really Shephard or some re designed clone created by Cerebrus to do their bidding and Liara is in part protecting herself. In this case a melding is in order to remove any doubt or complicate their relationship if Shepard has been untrue. 2: Liara has born Shephard's child accounting for her reluctance to leave Illium ; Her obsession with SB to is not only avenge but to protect since a Shepard offspring will have Shephard's genetic blueprint putting her at risk since the Reapers are preoccupied with Shephard's genes; Her reluctance to share any meaninful personal information during their meetings on Illium was to not provide a distraction from Shepard's mission to defeat the Collectors.

I think during a mission to confront the Shadow Broker Shepard will bring up confusion about Prothean beacon visions or a conversation involving Reaper intrest in Shepard will ensue and Liara will meld with Shepard and and her doubts will be put to rest, or not, after which she'll say something to Shepard along the lines of ' Come with me, there's someone I want you to meet' . In this case it would seem doubtful that Liara would be a squademate but it would allow for an optional ending for ME3.
