Imagine what "prize" (i hate from now that word<_<) such child could become to any genetican...
combined Human-Asari-Prothean DNA whit natural born biotic ability... absolute treasure.
And that's why Liara would be able to reject Shepard's plea to join her in order to protect thier precious child.
You my ask "Then why she didn't tell anything?"
Step for a moment in Shepard shoes.
You comeback from the dead working unwillingly whit intergalactic terrorist organization and you learn that Lia is in state of personal war whit another shady personality and then you learn that you and Lia have a daughter...
Choice would be - Stay whit Lia and protect her and child risking safety of the galaxy or Go against Collectors without even single guarantee to return.
I am more than sure that 90% people would chose first option and Liara known that too good and that's why she decided that to ensure thier child's future Shepard MUST go against Collectors, and that's why she hide herself behind "Shadow Broker chase" exit to block Shep from further digging her reasons.
Of course there is still factor that Shepard could not return from C-Base and i am sure Liara was trearing apart inside from fear that she might loose her again but on the other hand she was confident that Shepard will be able to return even from deepest areas of the hell if necessary.
She known that Collectors were one of the threats which were necessary to eliminate as soon as possible when reapers arriving thanks to Sovieregin defeat can take years.
This was hight risk gamble from her side but she known after Redemption events what threat in reality Collectors represent and Shepard was the only one capable to stop them once for all.
To end my "rant" i would say that would be really funny to learn in ME 3 that not only Aethyta is Lia's dad but in her free time she babysiting her granddaughter.

I don't believe this for one second. From my point of view, and the way I play Shepard, I would not grab Liara, my daughter, and run off to some corner of the galaxy. What I would do, is first make sure Liara and daughter are safe (which means dealing with the issues that make it not safe for them) while helping the rest of the crew, and then take the two to Earth or Thessia and make sure they were out of any harms way. Then I would do as I did and open up a can-o-whoop-ass on the Collectors and then head straight back to Liara.
Would have made for a whole lot better story line in the game too!

Only Chuck Norris can kill
Shepard.
Considering Bruce Lee handed Chuck Norris his ass in Way of the Dragon, untrue.

Hello, beautiful.
I absolutely love this pic.
Question though, how do you get Liara to strike this pose? I've never seen her stretch or loosen up in this manner whilst she stands in an elevator, so I'm just curious. I want to see her strike this sexy pose in my game!

I'm not sure. Raanz is the person who originally posted that pic. I just lightened it up in photoshop.

I like the picture of Liara I used here much better than the old one. I also did some tweaking to Shepard, but it's nothing major.

It's one of her idle animations and it only appears to happen in the PC version of the game. I've played the XBox version 15 times and have never seen it. See it all the time on PC.

Dang. So you PC users get more idle Liara animations too? Hmph.
One of my favourite Liara idle animations is when she's holding her pistol, and looks around nervously pointing it in different directions. So sweet!

I noticed Lizardviking brought up one of my pics, that made my day.It also reminded me I had recently done some changes to that wallpaper. Here, take a look, let me know what you think.

Not to be mean or anything. But Liara looks downright weird in this new version!
Sorry.

Liara looks adorable in a helmet
I miss helmets for squad mates.
She looks worried there, though. I never have Liara in a helmet where it isn't mandatory, though. I don't like to cover up her beautiful head!
Also, I would get ME for the PC if I had a gaming quality one. Then I'd be all over it.
