Being a Liara fan sucks.

Guess we'll have to wait and see about that.

Not all Twi'leks in KotOR are sultry seductresses.
Not all asari in ME1/2 are sultry seductresses.
w00t.
Well, and there's a certain cute, young, slightly innocent blue twi'lek in KotoR who, at least on some level, might be a precursor to our favorite Asari. They aren't the same character, but there are influences I think.
Oh...um...maybe. That twi'lek has a street-wise edge about her that Liara lacks though.
Plus, she's underage.
Hey! I was talking about after TSL, she's nineteen by th- ... wait, were you talking about my post or not? ...

Well, here really is the problem... Unless you are purposely looking for that dialog, or just get lucky and misclick dialog options, or click the right dialog but have not finished her mission yet, you NEVER see that.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
After exploring that dialogue path, how anyone can think that her chief motives aren't based around her love for Shepard I don't know.

Yeah, I just want to avoid the 'stalker' motif where she is obsessed with Shepard on a romantic level even though the feelings aren't returned. Liara's better than that.
Yeah, that's a good point. However, I think this could be avoided if handled right.

Amazingly this is me naturally. With only two hours of sleep lost from my normal pattern last night.

They could turn Liara into an Ardat-Yakshi and have her head explode. Does that means it's likely, that it's going to happen or should I worry about it? Nooooo.

There is no interpreting about it. Shepard says "That anger can't be from what you've told me. What else happened?" and no Liara opens up and confesses as to what this is really all about. There's no interpreting there, that's just plain facts. Her chief motive is still surrounding Shepard and her strong feelings, regardless of reciprocation.

Just because Liara doesn't state these motives at the end of Redemption, doesn't mean they aren't there. Whereas they're presented in ME2, and there's nothing to contradict them or prove them to be false.
