My main play through Shep officially didn't see that dialogue at all.  I had a save that I went back to once I heard about that dialogue on these forums, but by that time I was 20 hours further into the game and had no interest in replaying a bunch of recruitment missions.  So if that dialogue is a trigger in ME3, I won't trigger it with my main Shep.

I saw it because I had a save to go back to.  But I didn't play that save forward.  After I watched it I went back to my game that was 20 hours further along.

I have only one completed ME2 playthrough. 

Technically I do too, though I've committed to two more, one of which is already almost done.  But I actually went back to that save on Illium and replayed from then, truth be told... no Shepard of mine is going to be an **** to Lia no matter HOW hard the game seems to try to make us!

Last word on this, because Les, you are without a doubt the most rabid fan in the Liara group.  After you ask her that, what does she talk about?  She talks about getting your body back and giving it to Cerbeus, not about hunting down the SB.  I'll grant you that hunting down the body and giving it to Cerberus was all about her feelings for Shep.

I really, honest to God don't know what else to say. It's just...there. "That anger can't be just from what you told me", Liara explains. At this point, Liara isn't justifying why she hunted down the corpse. She's justifying her anger at the Shadow Broker, and why she's hunting him down, her motivations. She explains what happenes to Shepard, what she had to do with the corpse, her subsequent guilt and fear Shepard will hate her, and how that's been tormenting her. Bearing in mind that Liara is still justifying her anger at the Shadow Broker. It's just...there. I can't see how it's up for debate.

LES, go back to that link and watch it and really listen to it.  I did just a minute ago.  All she talks about is getting the body back and handing it over.  That's it.  Honest to god, you are simply going along on blind fan loyalty like most of the Talimancers.  I'm sick of being nice about this.  If you want to defend the way Liara was written in ME2, be my guest, but I for one am not just going to pat BW on the back, say good job, and get the lube ready for ME3.

Yes, because Shepard has tasked her with justifying her anger at the Shadow Broker, and what happened surrounding recovering the corpse and how it has subsequently effected Liara is her motivation. It's not hard to see, is it?

Shepard asks her "That anger can't be from what you've told me" and Liara says all of that. It's just there. Why is that hard to see?

Les, I'm sorry, but I simply can't take much more of you. As much as I love Liara, I don't understand how you can be so blind to any and all things concerning her.  If you don't want to go back and watch the link to see what she actually says fine, continue on your merry way.  So will I.

My Shep wasn't a **** to her.  She just didn't ask the right question.  All you have to do is ask the upper left question before you ask the lower left question and you don't get to hear the truth.

Just a quick note.  "So, that's why I must destroy the Shadow Broker.  For what he did to my friend, and to you, and whatever he's doing with the Collectors."

That is not just 'talking about getting the body back and handing it over'.

Noz, seriously, I just can't take it when people criticize people for stuff they're guilty of themselves.  Not that many people on the entire internet are innocent of that, I'll grant you... but it doesn't make it right.
