I found the change sort of believable when she explained what she had gone through. I don't like the direction they took her, but I believe that it was BW plan from the start to make ME1+2 almost completly different games, then combine the elements from both in ME3 so that it tests out your loyalty and such. I also think that Liara will eventual completly break down to Shep and return almost completly to her original self depending on how much you help her, but I don't think this will happen in DLC I believe that BW will wait until ME3.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...
That's an interesting perspective, that you experienced Liara first in ME2, before going back to ME1. glad that you're loyal to her, and that you don't think she's crazy anymore.
For curiousity's sake, do you find Liara's character development in ME2 believable if you went back to play ME1 after playing ME2 for the first time? Do you like the direction they're taking her? I'd like to echo J's sentiment that I don't mind this direction with Liara, just that I wish they'd handled it better.
Overall I think Liara's just had too much happen to her and needs some time and comfort.

Hmm, the light seems to be perfect. She also looks sexy, and cute at the same time here (well, she always does. It just seems more noticeable in this picture).jlb524 wrote...

But yes, as much as I am positive, I will always try to understand another's view though. Unless they are bashing Liara for the sake of it.
We do indeed need to stop arguing and at least be civil, if not for our sake's then for the Beautiful blue Goddess's.
Yes! No one here is bashing Liara though and will never do such a thing! Those that bash bash BW and the writers.
This is my fave Liara pic and I don't know why
Plus, she almost seems to be daydreaming about Shepard. (The good type of daydream).

Pretty much the same reason why people like him. He thinks of himself as too strong, and needs to just shut up and listen to the man/woman that has saved the universe twice. Also, he's too selfish.Somebody1003 wrote...

Aria better not be Liara's father. I would rather not meet her at all, than have a dumb plot twist to give her a father, IMO.LesEnfantsTerribles wrote...

Let's say that, after the ME trilogy and the end of the Reaper threat, (Fem)Shep and Liara get "married" and have asari daughters together. What if (Fem)Shep then wants to have human kids with another human? D'you think Liara would would be open to such a thing, keeping in mind that Shepard could accomplish this through artificial insemination or some other technique which doesn't involve a relationship and/or intimacy with another person?

Eh...Aria is a stabilizing influence on Omega. She may be a dirty crimelord, but she's not wanton, and actually seems to care what happens on the station (that is to say, she doesn't let things get too out of hand). Just look at the Archangel/Garrus situation. She doesn't care about him because he had the good sense not to screw with her people, whereas anyone else in her position might have tried to use the situation to exert control over the rest of the merc gangs.
Bah, I'm reading too much into things again.

Me too, and Liara is going to open her heart to Shepard eventually, and reveal just how much she's suffered and the pain she's endured. We'll finally have the ability to comfort and console her. Liara's suffered alot, she's been emotionally tormented for two whole years, she's been loathing herself for so long. She needs help, comfort and a shoulder to cry on. The only person who can provide that is Shepard, her one and only true love.

Well, not everyone on Omega is a criminal scumbag.
To the Aria thing, why does a big Asari character have to be Liara's Father? This same thing was speculated with Samara, hell, I bet it will be speculated with every semi-big Asari character to come, and may I ask, why?
