You guys are driving me crazy. Last night before going to bed I check this thread like I always do and everything was fine. Today I come to the forums and I spended like 5 minutes looking for this thread. I thought it was deleted or something, I almost had a heart attack.


  Liara's Happy fun time thread: No Negative Nancy's allowed!!. I'm not feeling the new name, this thread needs argument, it needs fire ( without insults of course ). If we lose that then we'll start talking about irrelevant stuff and this will turn into a souless thread. Umm actually the Liara's father debate was rather interesting. You guys sure know how to keep this thread going strong.

Well here is to hoping that the new DLC announcement will have something to do with our lovely Liara. The anticipation is killing me, I can't wait to see her again.

I dont like the new name either.

Nah, remember MDK has a pic planned for when the thread reaches 1000 pages!  Don't let Nzoy get in the way of that!  Maybe when he cools down, he'll change it back.

Yes I agree, the name it's embarrassing. Everyone is probably looking at the name and thinking that Liara fans are just a bunch of whining kids that cannot accept criticism. We might disagree of a few topics but we are all here because we love Liara. Heated topics will always arise but we need to act like adults and keep a cool head.

I believe people might be reading too much into the title of the announcement for an announcement.  Sure it has the word 'horizon' in it and that could 'mean' many different things if there is a meaning, and maybe there never was an intended 'hint'.

You assumption fails;  And I lack any reason to buy the alternate appearance pack, and I doubt I ever will... Any future similar DLC? will probably generate the same reaction...  However, if you downloaded it and liked it then great for you.

Upon further back reading I see that there was some sort of argument between optimism and pessimism... which was why the OP changed the thread title.  Which means you could have already had an answer to your original question.  I am happy though as optimism is sooo much happier than pessimism.  If I wanted to be sad, I would watch the news.

Don't count on it...
I am not going to say any more that Nozy was only 40% of the "event", and that I am really disapointed that it degraded into what it did.

I honestly don't care for the thread subject, and I don't expect Nozy to change it back any time soon if ever.

The whole "you will enjoy the new appearnce pack" was a joke if you didn't noticed!
Also i hope the "pessimist" will return, if only because then there someone else who share my viewpoint.
"EDIT" Also i did noticed people had left after the argument. My previous reply, was just an question if anyone else felt the thread had changed for the worse after the whole thing.

The real problem is that the extremes were so wraped up in their own extremist views that it degraded into flames and name calling. Niether would bend or back off until it was way too late.

As far as thread wars go, last night's was pretty tame. As Liara fans, we're all carrying around a lot of frustration and resentment over what BW did to her. Things were bound to boil over in here eventually.



But I don't think it's necessary for people to start jumping ship. Seriously, it was an isolated event. If we're ever going to convince BW to give us our BBG back, we need to stick together.
