Asari cheese (that's cheese that originated in Asari space, before anyone misinterprets my meaning) is best. It comes from biotic cows. They milk themselves. Using biotics.

It's always something with the beginning of the month and ME2. Last month, it was Redemption #4. This week, it's the DLC announcement. At least I still have a reason to go back to my LCS.

Ill give it to Bioware, they are doing much better with the DLC.  Between something this week (i am not getting TOO excited about the Liara aspect of it, I am expecting something much bigger for her in an expansion) for ME 2 and then hints of more DA:O DLC, a lot to do...

I agree, it's also nice that they seem to have let Leli's VA talk about the fact that she's doing more work... I do feel like running up to Sunnie and hugging her, one of our co-favorites is getting more love!

Didn't it also pique your interest that Ali Hillis, in response to Sakhalin asking her about her wish to see more Liara in DLC or ME3, said that she was "very intuitive"? Very promising, I really hope this DLC announcement is for Liara!

I look forward to Tuesday to see what lies ahead.  I would be surprised to hear it was the Liara DLC, but not disappointed.  I would question how in depth it would go in terms of any sort of advancement of the relationship aspect as, being DLC, it is neither substantial enough like an expansion to make totally "canon, you MUST play this" or, of course, part of a full game.  In other words, long term, I wonder what if any real impact it might have on ME 3.

Now, for a shameless plug, Chapter 5 of my Liara/Shepard ME 2 story is up.  I am getting shorter and more intense.  Its going to be no holds barred from here on out, so I hope you all, if not "enjoy", are engaged by it.

Though of course, this is Ali speaking to a fan, so she has to be cryptic, yet wants to give Steph hope ... but I am so not surprised if everything she relayed was true.

For serious, though, I find it very likely that we're getting two installments -- one semi-inconsequential that should have more information story wise (and will not put Lia back on the Normandy at all, since it has to preserve the status quo), and the DLC which will be locked post Omega 4, and have over half as much Liara goodness as we had in the game... the FIRST game.  (And maybe will get her on board? ... not going to say it'll definitely happen, just in case I'm pleasantly surprised.)

Yes!  I needed my f/f fix.  ^_^

Edit:  That's fan fiction.  Female/female is good too though!

Still a possibility, Gw... I know I'm not the only Jayla Clark in existence online but I've been her since 2002 in one way shape or form, and I actually picked the name partly while Layla was playing.

For those people that say that Liara's DLC couldn't really have major ramifications for the storyline or Liara's character due to the fact that it's only DLC, and not everybody is going to play it, what about if somebody imports a ME2 save into ME3 without the Liara DLC completed, and it makes a series of default choices similar to a non-import ME2 game? If you didn't romance Liara, then the game assumes you selected the Renegade choice and encouraged Liara to kill the Shadow Broker and if Liara is your LI, then it assumes that you selected the Paragon choice and comforted her, convinced her not to kill the Shadow Broker and reaffirmed to romance.

Basically, what I'm saying is the Liara DLC could have quite large consequential effects, and that if the content is not completed then a series of default choices are selected for when a ME2 save is imported into ME3.

A very good point, Les. The marketing strategy for that kind of setup is brilliant, particularly if the DLC is payware...

That's funny, because I've been "Goodwood" since late in 1998 -- I was thinking of the Goodwood Festival of Speed in Britain whilst thinking of an online "handle" to use for playing multiplayer flight-sims.

I imagine it'll have some ripple effects, assuming they release it, but they probably won't punish people for not buying the DLC. It may make some things easier or give you certain bonuses, but it won't eliminate Liara as an LI if you haven't played it or spiral her character off in a different direction.

I definitely think any potential DLC will have effects that carry over into ME3, but I anticipate they'll be fairly small.
