Many of us claims that Aethyta is Lia's daddy but tthere are as well people who claim that Aria could be her father too.

All signs from Bioware point to them being satisfied with how Liara was presented in ME2. I honestly don't see them doing anything in the DLC to "fix" something that they don't see as broken. Liara will be exactly the same person she was in ME2. There won't be any oppurtunity to comfort her or change her outlook.
If we're lucky, we'll get a chance to reconcile with her in the third game.

That's why I'd wait in any case for reviews before purchasing the DLC. And if it's as you say, I would of course not buy it at all. I think that's important. You can complain as much as you want on a thread that no developers will ever read, all they care about is your money. If you give it to them, all they hear is "I love how you trashed my favourite character, please continue!"

I think Ratz is being realistic. I'm also not expecting romance related content in DLC. I'm expecting a 1 1/2 hour mission to do something SB related. I don't think we'll see that romance content until ME3.

To be honest, I'm not seeing anything from BioWare that suggests they have any opinion on Liara in ME2, let alone that they're happy with it. They've said absolutely nothing, so they could be happy, and they could be regretful with how she was handled. I do hope they've taken alot of the criticism on board though. Not just from this website, but from forums and gamers everywhere. I've seen alot of people all over the internet express frustration, disappointment, confusion, anger and puzzlement over how Liara was handled in ME2. Hell, when even a massive Liara fan like Wingedmoggy misses the important dialogue choice and consequently gets a little mad at Liara, you know BW have screwed up.

Les, I highly doubt they would say anything negative about a lead writer online or in a press release/interview to appease Liara fans. I assume they'll just try to come up with something appropriately awesome, and just say it was always their plan.
It will hopefully work out. I'd rather wait for something good than something rushed though.

It was pretty funny. Nobody seemed to care about what was happening in Poland, but the Liara fans were all like "deep breaths, it'll be alright" and "ZOMG NO!!," when she's just a bunch of pixels and drawings. I didn't see any of them reacting like that in the thread about the death of all those Polish officials.
People have their priorities in life seriously wrong. Not just the Liara fanbase, that's just a convienient example. News stories saying how Lady Gaga's fly was undone when she was shopping instead of reporting on real news, or making a difference.
/Rant that went off on a tangent over.
