An argument resulted in Nozy changing the thread out of anger, he feels we should all be depressed like him.

What was the argument about? was it about Liara? did a Troll start something?

Nozy basically felt we were all morons for thinking BioWare cares about The Beautiful Blue Goddess or will do a proper DLC, so after he argued with all of us, he quit the thread but changed the name before he left.

Who the F*ck is this Nozy person?? if bioware doesn't make a f*cking DLC for Liara BW is gonna screw Liara up as a character!!!!!!!!!! do you know if its true that BW is not making a DLC for Liara?

Nozy is the OP of the thread.
Ah and you could put your rant in capitals, looks better then.

Just like they did when Liara wasn't recruitable, and after Redemption...
It was pretty funny. Nobody seemed to care about what was happening in Poland, but the Liara fans were all like "deep breaths, it'll be alright" and "ZOMG NO!!," when she's just a bunch of pixels and drawings. I didn't see any of them reacting like that in the thread about the death of all those Polish officials.
People have their priorities in life seriously wrong. Not just the Liara fanbase, that's just a convienient example. News stories saying how Lady Gaga's fly was undone when she was shopping instead of reporting on real news, or making a difference.
/Rant that went off on a tangent over.

Ah it's allright, your point is valid, if my post had been serious my priorities would be quite wrong indeed!
And concerning the terrible accident you mentioned... it was a horrbile shock for me, but stuff like this many just keep out of the forums I guess.

I wasn't talking to you haha^_^The pictture just started my rant off, lol. I find it quite amusing.
But on topic-yes this is a gaming forum. However, that doesn't mean people here aren't more deeply affected by pixels then real life-that was my point.
This Nozy is annoying from what I've seen. He just hangs around and moans about how Bioware are evil because they didn't include more Liara, and as a side effect are lazy and don't caer about anything but money and EA.
So yeah, I'm not suprised he changed the thread name. Just a testament to his maturity, I guess.

I don't think they care about Liara either, and I doubt they're able, let alone willing to do a proper DLC.



Oh, and every Tali fan who think it's so funny to see us annoyed? Yeah, I bet you'd just love if BioWare trashed your favourite character. I'm sure you wouldn't go from 1.000 pages to 10.000 pages a day, right? Just because you got all you wanted, doesn't mean it will stay that way. We once thought that BioWare cared about the ME 1 characters too, and look how that turned out.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was bothered by that.

IMO though the people in here are crazy.  Same with the other support threads.  It's not the part about liking the character.  It's the fact that people will actually get in to stupid flame wars over which game character is superior.  I just can't comprehend how someone can be so invested in an imaginary character that they take personal offense when someone else disagrees with them on it.  People in here need to chill out and just have fun.  The whole purpose of the game, and all the characters in it, is to induce enjoyment.

If Bioware wanted to really blow up the forums, they'd make a romance conflict where Liara and Tali fall in love and Shepard has to pursue one vigorously.

If the ME2 romances will be just an intermezzo like the Collectors plot, the Tali people will go mental! She can die, she can not possibly play a that important part in the plot.

Hey! What's up everyone? Err, it took me a while to figure out that this was the old Liara support threat, but hopefully everything is going to come back as it once was. It's really sad to see people fighting over things that is suppose to just be fun and bring enjoyment.



Anyway... I heard there was suppose to be a DLC announcement today? Can't wait to see what is it!

I'm fairly certain the roles Ashley, Kaidan, and Liara played in ME2 were not designed to induce enjoyment.

They were made to induce players to bail on them for the newer, "more compelling" romances.

I hope none of the romance plots are treated as throwaway flings.I should be able to get my happy ending with a partner of my choice from the game of my choice. Beyond that, I don't much care who will be in my squad. These flame wars are ridiculous. I suppose I like that protective instinct. I still think Liara's ME3 role will be sizable, more sizable than that of the Virmire survivor I'll even go so far as to say that she will be the "leading lady" of ME3.
