Hmm, looks like it's only 160 points. That's not bad.
@Les - You're starting to sound like me now.
It's still 160 points too much.
It only adds another suit of armor, so it's not gamebreaking to not download it. That's fair to me.
Yeah, I'm going to pass on it considering I have a bunch of cool head gear and armor from a mod.
I was hoping for an announcement on something story related, not more gear I won't even use.

guys would you rather have a rush product that makes you even more mad or a product where Bioware takes there time with Liara and makes you all happy?
We would rather have them take their time, but we would like to know they are at least planning on releasing it. I don't want Liara DLC to be released now, just an announcement that one will be released in the future.
and what happens if it gets delayed? Bioware does not want a RtO incident again. Why do you think they said nothing about the Kasumi problems to the community? Bioware wants the Liara DLC to be ready and perfect, not crappy and rushed.

Like J said, we just want some kind of acknowledgement or confirmation that something is on the way.
If they announce something as deep as a Liara Expansion Pack at E3, then I will be very happy indeed. You're all but guaranteed deep, substantial Liara content with plenty of romance too.

Yippee for the..."Equalizer Pack"...
Yeh, I feel ya, mate, it's depressing, lol. But it's cool looking armour, though. I guess. As I said in the Tali thread, nothing's official on the front news page, yet. Although, maybe I'm keeping my hopes up... Meh, maybe a side mission expac for our ME1 LIs will come out. *shrug*

BW Developer 2: "What could be missing? We succeeded in all our goals and made a killing."
BW Developer 1: "I know. I can't put my finger on it...."
BW Developer 2: "We dumbed down the story to appeal the the shooter crowd."
BW Developer 1: "I know."
BW Developer 2: "We toned down the carry over elements from ME1 so that new players wouldn't feel they missed anything."
BW Developer 1: "I know."
BW Developer 2: "We shifted the whole focus of the series from an artistic sci fi epic to a run of the mill action adventure title."
BW Developer 1: "I know! You don't have to tell me. I said I'm happy. It just seems something's missing."
BW Developer 2: *shrugs* "Well, it can't be more armor and weapons. We've already released..."
BW Developer 1: "That's it! You're a genius. What the game needs is another set of armor and another weapon! Let's get to work. This game is going to be perfect!"

I am still sure we're getting something. I'm not even totally pessimistic about it being announced soon.
Having said that, what I'm hearing sounds comically stupid. Selling pre-order exclusives for a single player game nearly everyone has beat? I'm almost checking the calendar to affirm it's not April 1st. I won't download the pack unless, nay, probably even IF, it's free, unless there's more to it than items.

Do they even have people who could work on proper content, or all they all working on ME 3? Both DLC characters as well as the Hammerhead were meant to be part of the main game, so a lot of work was certainly done earlier. It might be that all they have now are a few people throwing together new armor and weapons to milk the masses.
I read somewhere that there are two teams, one working on dlc and another on ME3. Can't find the source straight away though.
I am pretty much resigned to the fact that Liara/SB content will need to be released as part of an expansion pack. If they are planning on doing it anytime soon, it will probably be announced at E3. Hopefully by the end of the summer we will have what we all want...

It ain't free...not that it's a lot of points but it's not worth the effort of me going to my EA account and adding the points to purchase it...that would like, take 5 minutes.

Majority of shooter fans hate the ME series because there is too much dialog.....

I still think that alot of Liara's content was developed simultaneously with the rest of ME2, and at the moment they're fleshing it out and padding it up for release. Making it deeper, more substantial, adding romance content with Liara. After the backlash post release over the handling of the ME1 LIs and their respective romances, I like to think they're going to rectify that for Liara in her DLC.
Maybe, maybe not...I just want some indication that they are even planning this and from them, not from fan speculation or media speculation. They don't even need to have a video or a trailer for it yet...just a sentence saying that they are planning on releasing it in the future.
For all we know, they might not be planning on doing this DLC anymore. We know nothing.

IGN Comics: We know that Bioware is going to be releasing some more downloadable content for the first Mass Effect that sort of bridges the gap between that game and the sequel. Is this comic connected in any way to those stories?
Walters: Actually, our goal right now is to have the story tie to some of the downloadable content for Mass Effect 2. That will probably be coming later next year. I don;t think we have specific dates yet. It's meant to be standalone in the sense that it explores something we don't necessarily see in the game, but it is connected to the game, and in the downloadable content we hope to follow through on some of the events in the comic.

I am more than sure that next DLC will contain that black hole heavy gun making collector edition practicly pointless...
