This used to be a thread where folks would look at things and speculate and argue and work things out with each other. Now its all about picture spam and heart smiley faces and anyone that thinks bad thoughts about Liara in ME2 needs to be villified and run off the forums.
I think you're just taking this a bit too seriously. The Liara thing as well as people disagreeing with you.
I've pretty much given up on BioWare already. Someone above asked if I care about their survival. Well... not really anymore, I guess. Wouldn't have thought I'd say that some day, but what can you do. If ME 3 is like ME 2, I won't buy it (maybe later from the budget bin). So if they continue to go down the current route, they can just as well disappear completely as far as I am concerned. Of course I don't wish for it, why should I. Not that it's likely anyway, they are probably making more money than ever before.
I can't stand what they did to Liara, and with ME 2 in general, and I'm not expecting a proper Liara DLC. So what. Doesn't mean I can't participate in a discussion about my favourite character in one of their previous games. Maybe they'll notice that there's a significant number of people who'd like to see her back in ME 3. If not, so what. I'll just keep my money. There's nothing else we could do even if we wanted.
Now to people disagreeing. So what. Happens all the time, especially on the internet. Not worth getting all angry about. Sometimes you can present facts, sometimes people are even willing to change their view. Sometimes, it's all just opinion and personal preference though. Like in this case with Liara. You just have to agree on disagreeing and move on. Doesn't mean everyone can't present their views. That's a successful discussion, not only if in the end everyone agrees on the same view.
And that's that. Won't change anyone's mind either, but so what.
