After a double-date with Miranda and Jack goes badly wrong, Liara and Jack have to work together to rescue their loved ones.
I most definitely look forward to this one. I'm glad Shepard's the one that needs rescued this time.

Yep, can't believe I overlooked that. Will be good to see Liara save Shepard again! Don't forget Liara saving Shepard's life by stopping the Shadow Broker from selling the corpse to the Collectors!
I like the idea of Liara and Shepard being dependant on each other, and the pair of them risking their lives to save the other. It also prevents the "damsel in distress" thing that people like to erroneously label Liara with.

Shepard was dead at the time and really couldn't appreciate Liara's bravery. That's the difference!

True, but paragon shepard was always grateful of Liara's save. Anybody who picks all the renegade options during Liara's reunion scene in ME2 is a heartless bastage.

Looks like BW are getting the hint that people aren't overly impressed with these tiny DLC packs: http://twitter.com/truffle
Promising, if nothing else. Let's hope said story DLC contains our favourite asari archaeologist.

Very true, J. Shepard could actually take Liara in her arms and smooch her when Liara saves her. Proper appreciation, and she can actually see first hand just how much Liara is doing for her. She'll appreciate it properly, then!

Anyway, if this thread is to be as good for the next 1.000 pages as it was for the first, it's time to stop the off-topic stuff and get back to discussing Liara, yes?
When I first played ME 1, I knew nothing about it and its characters. That's how I like it, and I refuse to look anything up on the internet. I also didn't know that the romances are dependent on your progress in the main story. When I didn't get new dialogue with Liara, I was worried the romance might've been stalled, by something I said or by a bug. All the time I was asking myself if I shouldn't rather start over, but the story made me continue anyway. I was then very happy once I could talk to Liara again.

In an effort to feel closer to Liara, Shepard chooses headgear that most closely resembles the distinctive asari crest

In an effort to get shot in the head sooner rather than later, Shepard chooses headgear that illuminates his noggin for all to see.

I didn't follow the game either and knew nothing of it's characters. I just knew an alien female was romanceable by FemShep and I at first thought it was Tali. I was wrong, so wrong!
