Some say it happens 'too fast'. What you say to that?
Like we discussed over PM before, J. It's restrictions to the amount of romance dialogue with Liara imposed by the fact that she can be picked up quite late. Consequently, they had to condense the development of Liara's attraction into a fewer amount of romance conversations. If you actually listen to how Liara's attraction develops, it's very believable and healthy. It goes from an interest in Shepard on a scientific level to the development of romantic attraction. It just feels quick because they were limited in the amount of conversations they could do.
I agree but some do not see the nuances and only go by the fact that she admits attraction to you in the second dialog. I always felt it was mature of her to admit this attraction as soon as it manifested, instead of hiding it or playing coy. She feels the attraction, thinks Shepard does feel the same too, and decides to get it out into the open and discuss it and possibly do something about it. She is in no way ready to bed Shepard at this time, nor does she want to.
