Yay! We have 2 threads!
How do you think he would react to Thane? Assuming that he could meet Thane... You guys think Kaidan is a spiritual type?
Or Samara! I think he could appreciate her strict moral code but I could also see him disagreeing with some of her choices according to that code. Maybe learn some new biotic moves?
And I LOVE Kaidans hair! I hope it doesn't get changed... it's so distinctly Kaidan!
Kaidan's hair is a lot more attractive to me ever since someone here suggested it's probably curly/wavey. Rrowr!
Oops! I completely forgot about Thane...I don't dislike the guy, but that doesn't say much for the "compelling" LIs in ME2, does it? I don't see Kaidan as being spiritual/religious at all, since Ashley seemed to fulfill that role and if I recall the codex entry correctly, people are considerably less (traditionally) religious. I think Kaidan would have a good deal of respect for Thane, but wouldn't quite get how Thane is able to reconcile his profession with his religion...I think Kaidan, who seems to have high moral standards, wouldn't really approve of his "I'm just the weapon" philosophy. Also why I completely agree with PopDisaster on Kaidan's attitude towards Samara!
As far as Liara is concerned, I think Kaidan would be, like my Shep was, shocked as hell to discover how much she's changed in two years!
Unrelated: I hope we get to practice our special ME1 femshep dance moves with Kaidan again in ME3.

Badpie says:
His hair is made from the sweat of a thousand virile wild stallions.
(Kaidan rears back majestically, then gallops away from Shepard across the plains of Horizon
Edit: I'm too drunk and lazy to figure out the coding for nested quotes.
See, this just makes me think of Kaidan's majestic rear again. All right, who's got that "walk away...dat ass!" pic ready to post?! :innocent:
