Question for ME3 KAiden romance:

What would u want from these:
Chest Hair, Six-Pack, shinier skin graphics, slight tanning (very slight), more love glares, more wiping forehead, kissing as much as possible... of you have anymore add them - i'd personally leave out the chest hair, ew, butters.

...all of the above is an option, right?  Forehead wiping says "hardworking man" to me, which is very nice.

Vote as much as you want :P

I just got this little blurb on my loading screen:

Is your Captain's cabin missing something? Buy a pet!

Sounds good.

Okay...does anyone know for sure who wrote the part for Jacob and Femshep( in her dialog with Jacob). I just have a hard time believing it was a female writer.

I have a hard time believing it was a writer who gave a damn at all and wasn't just messing with us.
I know there's some theories that he was written for guys playing FemSheps but I don't know, I haven't spoken to a single guy who likes it either. It's just... bad. Low grade porno bad with his talking about "prizes" and crap.
And Shep? Shep wouldn't act like that, Shep would kick him in the teeth. She's nobody's prize. :pinched:

Well, women on the rebound after a bad breakup tend to act very differently in the rebound relationship than they do naturally....  I didn't like the way Shep acted with Jacob, but it didn't strike me as completely unrealistic.

Also, some women (none that I like) would find that "prize" line to be very flattering.  It goes to damaged self-esteem.  However, as it happens, my femShep did not have any self-esteem issues and found that to be amazingly insulting.  So insulting that I reloaded and went back hours to erase any inkling that femShep was at all interested in Jacob.  It was totally worth it.

I dunno, my husband's called me that before.  He was, however, JOKING.

One of my cousins married a woman he met using a line eerily similar to that one.  It happens.  I find it unfortunate in the extreme.  They are still happily married and have three kids now, so I guess it works....

Ideally? Kaidan-specific: my graphics card to support the game (!), no drastic changes to Kaidan's appearance, some sort of smexy formal uniform, repeatable kissing/love scenes (with tasteful nudity like in ME1), fan service moments with Kaidan's light but well-defined muscular body, Kaidan recruitable almost right away, after initial angsting, a slow rekindling of romance with lots of delightful tense moments like the locker scene, first definite we're going to make it work moment again towards the end of the first quarter of the game, interactions possible in Shep's cabin, orange panel for him to work on for sentimental reasons, at least a few interactions with Dr Chakwas, Joker, and your old squaddies about Kaidan and you rekindling your romance, and finally a happy romance resolution!

Whew! That was a mouthful.

Yay, 100 pages! And a picture of Henry Cavill to celebrate with us to boot. <3

He the guy out of "The Tudors?"

Yep! I think he'd actually do fairly well for Kaidan in a ME movie actually (hope they never make one though). He's's got the right chin for it, just darken the hair and eyebrows.

I'd prefer they never make a ME movie since they tend to screw up game movies so often, however if they did I'd prefer they use an unknown to play Kaidan. I've had enough of big name actors being chosen for roles they don't really fit just because the producers think they'll draw in more viewers. Jake gyllenhaal as the Prince of Persia drives me batty. I don't have anything against the actor but there is no way I could ever see him as the Prince from the game. Just my personal opinion. But when it comes to the movie at all...if they make one... you know it will be about a maleshep and not a femshep.

Which means Kaiden buys it on Virmire.  *sigh*

On the surface I'd say yes...Kaidan will be the one to die on Virmire...but it could be seen another way.

Most of these things have the hero having a best friend and a girlfriend. If they decided they had to have that for ME...I'm thinking they would choose Liara for the girlfriend...she's the alien and she was featured more in her love scene than Kaidan/Ash.

That leaves Kaidan/Ash for best friend...while they could choose Ash...traditionally that role goes to the male and not the female...so there would be hope for him to survive Virmire...however like I said I wish they just wouldn't do it. With so many different ways to play the game, a canon movie would be dissapointing to a lot of people.

I think the prize comment being good or bad depends on context. I have not seen Jacobs lines. But it depends on the guy saying it and how its meant. Prize could mean trophy, notch on the belt, and so on. ( bad )
It could also me something special, something worth working / fighting for, something to hold on to, and so on.
Just wanted to add to the discussion. I am a guy, but I put the seat and the lid down so I am told I am not normal.:)

It depends, are you looking for an independent, healthy-minded woman, or someone with low self-esteem?  AND, are you using that line as a joke, or seriously?  Posted Image

Yay, I have internetz at work again!
So, I would say that I would think this way for all the angsty drama:

Shep (who is male because we all know they would go that route) has both Ash and Kaidan for the first part of game. He is attracted to Ash and they have some innocent flirty. He's just good friends with Kaidan.
In comes Dr. Tsoni - the blue alien chick - and Shep is also attracted to her, and he is all angsty over whom he likes more. The game progresses and of course jealousy abounds between Shep and his lady loves. Virmire happens - and he has to choose between the woman he likes and his good friend. He ultimately chooses Kaidan (because likely Kaidan is at the nuke and is higher ranking) and he is all emo over Ash's death. Dr. Tsoni of course swoops in to care for him and there you go.

Oh yeah, being called a "prize" could be a nice thing for a guy to say, depending on the context, but that whole line "but tha PRAAAAHHZZZE" was what made it awful.  My own husband would probably never say that to me, unless he was being sarcastic, like "pfft, yeah, what a PRIZE you are..."  Posted Image

In seriousness?  No.

However, I can see it happening in Jacob's case if he did know about Kaiden and thinks he "won."

Hmmm... well, ideally, the former, but they all seem to be missing from my area. And as a joke, of course; unless she's heavily into the whole BDSM thing, but then that'd be questionnable if I wanted to be involved with her, heh.

I believe it depends entirely on you and the woman involved.  In general, probably not.  But there might be a specific time when it is appropriate.  Your mileage may vary.

Well, he's the target for this particular run-though, I'll give a report when it's over.  :D

I haven't played my Kaiden-dedicated character yet, though.

Thanks. : D hahaha. at least this outfit on Kaidan is leagues better than Carth and his orange shirt. but i may be biased again.

I talked to him once and when I heard how my Femshep said Hey and leaned up against the table I didn't even wait for the conversation to continue...CTRL ALT DEL on instinct and restarted...went to a load before the conversation. I was livid and very much in shock...what did they do to my Femshep?

I think the Lazarus Project added a pheremone booster or something to Shep
