I think the Lazarus Project added a pheremone booster or something to Shep
That is, what I thought too. It does make a lot of sense.

Boobies defying the laws of physics are always distrubing.

Yeah. I would've pegged Shep as a mean drunk but she's actually quite jolly, it's pretty funny.

The DoA Ashley was a response to topless and trouserless Kaidan!
...though they where scary - Photoshop can't manage to make that combination work, heh.

To see a Miranda romance up close, I'll have to wait till my husband finishes his ME1 import game. (What can I say, he's a slacker.) But I do have a theory as to why Cerberus chose Miranda and Jacob to be there when you wake up. Cerberus Ken and Barbie are there to keep tabs on you in the most effective way possible: seduction. TIM didn't want to control you via a chip, so he tries to control you via your libido. I don't know what the convo is for flirting with Miranda, but if it's as bad as Jacob's is, either Shep's on to it, or suspects it or they put some horniness pills in her coffee that morning.
It backfires, since they both quit Cerberus (at least I think Jacob will, too), but he did try.

I don't play ManSheps but I was experimenting with changing gender flags in saves out of curiosity to see if there was female dialog for the male romances and vice versa like in ME1 (turns out there isn't) and I can say that after a point (the convo after Miranda's loyalty mission) the male romance dialog does become equally gagworthy.
And don't get me started on Jack. Jacob's is still the worst, particularily with how they have FemShep act.
In the end to me the romances, apart from Garrus/Tali (which are rather sudden and short anyway) seem far more immature and with less substance than the ones in ME1. Maybe my love for the good old days colours it a bit but no, they were better.

No need to worry about nostalgia clouding your opinion. The ME1 romances are better across the board. Garrus and Tali get the extra help they need simply due to their history.

About an ME movie. Hollywood seems deathly afraid of strong female lead roles, even though it worked well in Alien/Aliens.
This ties in to one of my fundamental theories of humanity: People are stupid!
So a Sheploo alike it would be (ugh). Fortunately I don't think that will ever happen.

I think romances in ME are not real romance, there are only a few flirts, then they do it. Kills the idea of romance. They need some nice date, work it slowly, no wonder kaiden leaves on Horizon/

That is the one aspect of Japanese horror movies I like. They almost always feature a strong female lead character. Of course she usually dies some horrible death at the end, so maybe that is how they justify it
Personally I was really bummed when I heard canon Revan from KOTOR was a man. IMO Revan should be and is a woman

I totally ignore the words of some guy who probably never played the game. I heard BioWare themselves weren't too pleased that someone was running around dictating what players did.
My Revan is my Revan, who just happens to be female and nothing will change that.
