1: If you're scared your writing will sound bad, you'll never write anything. Just write it anyway.
1a. You can't edit something that doesn't exist! And no one can give you feedback on something you haven't written!
2: Why would sounding academic be a drawback? There are more than enough people who write at grade school level. It would probably be a welcome change, so long as you're not hammering people over the head with ridiculously long words at inappropriate times.

I think Kaidan should stay in the ME universe where he belongs, the mental images of him in some historic suit are making me laugh. He would be so uncomfortable
don't all the men look a little uncomfortable in those regency clothes? i keep wondering if that's the clothes, the modern actors in the clothes, or what.
<tries to imagine kaiden in regency clothes and gets distracted with the trousers bit>

Would Casey Hudson be the appropriate person to write to? I don't even want or need any promises, I just want to know if they've noticed that Kaidan has devoted fans out here.

I think he would be the BEST one to write to he is project director for ME isn't he?TeenZombie wrote...
Handwritten letters are supposed to be taken more seriously by politicians and businesses, because anyone can spout off in an email, but it takes more effort to sit down and write a real letter and mail it, these days. So I'm all in favor of physical letters. I wouldn't want to inundate the devs with email that clogs up their inboxes and annoys them.

It's the modern actors in clothes that are incorrectly recreated. Most productions just repurpose modern clothes for a period look. Properly sewn regency clothes - there's a good reason every man of standing had a personal tailor and valet - are much more comfortable than a modern suit and tie. Also, period underwear *koff* isn't the same as modern underwear, and just doesn't work under correctly made period clothing.
The worst part is the hats. They weigh a ton, and we're just not used to it. Tying a cravat correctly is also a huge pain in the ass, but at least they look nice.

No my writing style is great. I think what gets missed is emotion, passion, an argument that is *personal* as opposed to intellectual.
The pointers I was looking for were more specifically what points do I address. What does Kaidan mean in to those who like him? I must admit here that my reasons for wanting Kaidan back are not as personal as many people here.
