@Shenzi - if that pic doesn't wake you up, nothing will. Don't know why Cerberus spent so much time & money bringing Shepard back, they could have just waved that pic in front of her. It would have certainly got her heart going, lol

I'm blaming Jho totally today for the gutterly ideas, she's in that sort of mood.

This is me. I had never played the biotics until my latest playthrough...love my Widow Maker too much. Plus, my first play through on ME2 I took the two most useless sidekicks w/me on the dead reaper and had my butt handed to me. Several times. Cloaking was the only thing that got me through.
Still figuring out Sentinel but I decided if I was going to write any fanfic with Kaidan using his abilities I'd better understand them. I never remember to turn the Tech Armor on, lol, but it's starting to be fun to play.

My main Shep was an adept in ME1 but once I discovered how awesome the Sentinel was in ME2 she switched classes, lol.  She can handle just about anything thrown at her and I absolutely love Tech armour.

Hmm.. maybe I will try the sentinel for my nest Shepard in ME2. I'm importing them one by one. In ME1 I prefered the vanguard. But in ME2 the adapt is my fav. I love throwing shockwave after shockwave at those husks.

I played both the sentinel and adapt in ME2 and found each one enjoyable.  My current playthrough I'm playing a vanguard on normal difficulty and loving charging into the middle of packs and dealing with chaos that ensures.   Reminds me a lot of my fear bombing warlock days   Course I also get my self killed a lot in the process.

I have no idea how that happened on mine, but I decided to leave it. It's one of the language selections. Maybe you should make an avatar with Kaidan in a pirate hat and eyepatch to go with it.

My forum menu dos change language every once in a while. Really frustrating the first times trying to find the language slider when you don't understand any of the options given.

Hmm..forum has a will of its own then. Last week everything was Italian all of a sudden, didn't even know there was a pirate option lol. And no to the Kaidan with a pirate hat...although an eyepatch could look smexy on him

Yeah, I saw the 1337 option a few weeks back. I don't have the patience to deal with that. Buccaneer was amusing, but I switched back to English after a few hours.

Hello all!





The forum sometimes freaks out and changes your language randomly, I got the Buccaneer change one day and freaked out, I had to check when "Talk Like a Pirate Day" is held.



Anyway, I have to go visit my family today, and so I'll just be lurking the forum on my phone. Hope there will be lots of Kaidan love to keep me occupied, cause I will be extremely bored!

Coming back to the conversation late but I had to sleep ><

I played ME1 with a vanguard. I wanted to play as other classes just couldn't make a face I liked as much as the first one I made so I stuck to one char on my replays. It's really nice that you can import as a different class in ME2. I've played as soldier, infiltrator and sentinel. My adept didn't make it past Freedom's Progress but I'll try that one again.

Some things I've noticed:

1) I love the sniper rifle. Generally prefer the higher firing capacities of the Viper to the stopping power of the Widow though.

2) The Revenant does wicked damage if you can keep it aimed - accuracy is meh.

3) The powers are pretty interesting and as a Sentinel you can take down defenses pretty handily.

4) I love the sniper rifle.



The bonus powers are cool as well. For the soldier I found Reave to be almost like cheating but it's something to use when you're low on thermal clips. Warp ammo is pretty neat too.

If you don't want to forget about using tech armor, try to use it at the beginning of a mission. As long as your shields don't get completely depleted then it will stay up the entire time. The only time I have trouble remembering to use tech armor is if my shields go all the way down in the middle of a fight. It has a relatively long reuse (compared to other abilities) so using it in the middle of the fight you'll have to rely on your weapons until the cooldown time is over.
