Well Kaidan have shown he got a more "aggressive" side. When you are romancing both Liara and him he comes off as quite angry (which Shep comments on). I would really enjoy a Kaidan who more actively tries to romance Shep in a more straight forward way. He was very careful because of all the regs in Me1 talking around the subject. With two years of believing Shep was dead I could actually imagine him realising he don't want to loose Shep again and go "wild". I think I might like that character progress

If you renegadeize him, you can see a slightly more aggressive side come out in him. I think his main problem in ME1 was that Shepard was his CO and he had to be careful. By the time ME3 rolls around, they should be peers of some sort. I would love to see him take more of an 'active persuit' kind of role.

I would like it best if Kaiden has been celibate for the past two years definitely, it sullies who he is if he has 'been', somewhere else. He takes relationships very seriously and feels very deelpy, imo.

Kaidan is not incapable of being aggressive. He is cautious about it sure, but Kaidan with some encouragement is not exactly completely...without drive. The way I figure it, is Kaidan backtracks sidesteps dances around until he is sure, and then he goes for it.

This.  Kaidan is clearly not over Shep, Shep shows up and doesn't show even remote interest in anyone else, of course he thinks there's still something there.  Do I believe Kaidan is the kind of guy to actively persue the love of his life?  Yes I do!

However same scenario, but this time Shep jumped into a relationship with either, friend to them both (that's gotta sting), cheeseball (just eww), or a green dying alien dude and I'm pretty sure Kaidan will assume Shep moved on, or is a slapper and never really cared for him at all.  Remember for Shep it literally has only been a few weeks at most, even if Kaidan hurt her on Horizon how much could he have really meant to her for her to move on so quickly, or at least that's how I think he would see it.  Now do I think Kaidan would actively persue Shep under those circumstances?  No, I think he would leave a wide berth.  If Shep actively seeks him out would he start up their relationshp again?  Maybe but the guy would have to have some doubts so if at all it would have to be much harder.  At least that's how I see it.

My shep would be most put out if she found out that Kaidan had done the deed with the mysterious doctor, lol. I was sort of under the impression that his "dates" had been a relatively recent thing and I don't think he would persue it further after seeing Shep on Horizon.

Exactly.  the damage done to the citadel by Sovereign would be nothing compared to what shep would do looking for the doctor, & Kaidans magnificent butt would have a few thousand boot marks added to it.

Yea this is what I felt too. It sounds like a blind date set up by his friends or something like that. Nothing serious. I would imagine he's the type of guy who buries himself with work and takes out his grief on the bad guys.

It doesn't cover the part where he's more assertive with his affections, but it's interesting to watch.

@Jho - yep they all have to be podded just to send the message that shep isn't going to stand for any shenannigans with her man. My shep did write a letter saying that she was coming back for him and I thought it was pretty clear that she wasn't giving him a choice in the matter, lol
