@Jilly - well I'm doing better than you so far today, I've actually managed 3 pages. Writing is flowing at the moment but unfortunately I have to stop to get lunch organised for the teens. Damn I hate school holidays.

It's interesting to see how much support Kaidan actually has concidering.<3

Kaidan doesn't whine about anything. He's level headed and even makes effort to say that his past has already been taken care of. I imagine that people are just linking Carth to Kaidan (simply for the voice acting, really) or they saw someone else call Kaidan whiny and adopted that.

It's because the calliber of men in America is slowly degrading.  They idolize whiny emo singers and are taught that if you have a problem DO NOTHING!  Just let it fester.  Don't be proactive or independent.  Mommy and daddy will take care of it for you.  On the other hand, their definition of manhood, instead of the strong silent John Wayne type, is becoming he who yells the loudest is right!  Look at me!   I'm talking about guns and boobies!  I don't actually do anything, but I'M MANLY.  LOOK AT MY TAPOUT SHIRT!

I want the guy from Second Hand Lions to sit every male in the country down and give them the, "What-every-boy-needs-to-here-before-he's-a-man," speech.

But Kaidan is like, the perfect man.  Doesn't strut about beating his chest, but when the time comes, man is it fun to watch a charging Krogan that was about the kill me go flying over my head.  I'm like, thanks Kai Kai.   So he's tough, well spoken, articulate, worldly, and doesn't going around screaming, "LOOK AT MY Y CHROMOSOME!"
