Actually I was going to ask a random dumb question. what would the Alliance dress uniform be for femShep - would it be pants, or skirt?
Probably pants. If it was super formal, then a skirt that goes past the knees proly.
I don't think it matters much anymore. Shepard seems like she's not going to be Alliance ever again. She'll probably stay a Spectre.

I'd assume it would be pants, like the way the Cerberus captain's uniform for women is just modified from the men's. I'd hope so, anyway.

I'm not sure, I think there's a possibility of Shepard rejoining the Alliance. Between Cerberus and the Alliance, whom many speculate will be the one of the choices in ME3, most would choose the Alliance anyway. But you do have a point, after essentially dying, Shepard's MIA and technically not part of the Alliance anymore. But I can't really see the Alliance not helping Shepard in some way, they are human after all. Plus the council is very very stubborn.fortunesque wrote...

Onboard a ship, pants would be much more practical and sensible. Also, cheaper to produce.
For a formal planetside function, like with Earth dignitaries, it might still be a skirt because we Earth folk are nothing if not hidebound and traditional.

Yeah Fort it will be interesting to see where they go with the Alliance/Cerberus/spectre thing. I suppose it depends on your shep really because there was the option of telling the council to go to hell, which I assumed meant that Shep wouldn't be a spectre anymore. I guess she will just go freelance now that she has a ship and a bunch of potential allies.

Did you play Kasumi's DLC? If not don't read these spoilers
that evidence Kasumi's bf had showing a pic of a reaper and saying if the info got out it would be bad for the Alliance...really has me worried. So much so that on my current playthrough I didn't give any data to the Alliance. I kept it for myself instead. I want to know what is going on and hate that I don't know who to trust now. Argh.

This is where I see the Virmire survivor coming in to play. They become the Alliance's "olive branch" to Shepard. Maybe this will make them into squadmates via an accountability person or whatnot. I don't think it'll make Shepard part of the Alliance again.

*I* would prefer to be a part of the Alliance, but since you can end ME2 still allied with TIM, I doubt they'll force the player to rejoin.

I sort of had this impression too. Its the only thing I can come up with to explain Kaidan/Ash being a squad mate again.fortunesque wrote...

It also peeves me that you don't have an option to leave the reaper base intact & not give it to Cerberus. It does make sense to keep it and study it but I just didn't want Cerberus to have it so I blew it up in all of my playthroughs.

I couldn't hand that base over at all. And shoot, I play mostly renegade. But handing the base over sounded absolutely stupid.

and I still think that either Joker or Chakwas (or both) are Alliance plants. Or maybe even Jacob, he does seem to have some fairly good Alliance connections seeing as he can get the "secret" new armour upgrade details.

I mostly play paragon but even in my renegade playthroughs there was no way I was going to give Cerberus access to the sort of information that could have been gained from that base. I just hope EDI got some really good data scans and that no-one hands them over to TIM.

I'm not sure about Joker. Chakwas, maybe... but she can die. I'm not quite sure about the Alliance planting someone in there actually.
It seemed like Shepard coming back and her whole mission came out of left field. I dunno... as long as Shep can cut ties with Cerberus, I'll be very happy.

I still think theres more to the Cerberus thing given that they were supposedly an Alliance operation that have gone rogue. Have they gone rogue or where they set up to do the Alliances dirty work? I'm just wondering how many of the top brass know the real story and if we'll ever find out about it.
Given the impact of the carryover decisions, I doubt it
Bedtime now!
