I like all these fanfic glimpses of what goes on 'behind the scenes' so to speak. And it seems the Shepard/Kaidan/Garrus team is quite popular in fanfics with Kaidan being the LI and Garrus the buddy. Which I love because that's how I usually go through ME1.
Have to say I'm silently supporting the Virmire survivors by taking Ash along instead of Garrus, even though both are/were my Shep's best friends. Oh how I wish Garrus had more friendship dialogue in ME2, my Shep misses her buddy.

Yes it would have been nice to have a bit more dialogue with Garrus rather than just getting the busy calibrating answer all the time. I would have liked to have a bit more conversation with Joker & Chakwas as well.
I wouldn't exactly call what I just wrote a fanfic, more like a bit of nonsense, lol.  I deliberately kept most of the other characters out of it just to keep it short & I actually cut 1 1/2 pages from it, which I may add to at a later date when I'm in a silly mood.

Ok, so I tried and I'm nowhere near as good as you Jho  but I always have to give things like this a go myself.
Any comments and constructive criticism are welcome, I always want to improve! Especially on the neck area where you have to merge to two images, I never get that to look completely right...

I have no such fear.  If I could have Virmired anyone I wanted it would have been Tali or Liara or preferably both of them, lol

Yeah, if I could have chosen from any of the six squadmates on Virmire, Ashley and Kaidan would have both survived, every time.  It still would have been a harder choice than the suicide mission in ME2, where it's not really a suicide mission at all, and it's very easy to save everyone and have no consequences.  The marketing really led me to believe otherwise.

So, an interesting side note. I saw Date Night yesterday with my boyfriend, and Mark Wahlberg is shirtless in every one of his scenes. Steve Carrell eventually loses it and yells at him to put on a f'ing shirt that made me laugh alot. I couldn't help but think that's how all the boyfriends and husbands want to yell at all the shirtless Kaidan we look at.

Matching a head to a different body is always one of the hardest parts, just have to keep at it till you think it works. Tinkering away at an image is how you learn after all, or at least that's how I learn anyway Sadly ME2 Kaidan always has this thick shadow on his jawline, I curse the sun on Horizon plenty of times when working on a pic lol. Keep at it, the more pics/art/fics we get in here the better

Love the goody trail on that pic btw....almost feels as if I have a trail fetish now

LOLOLOL, I once dated a guy who was constantly taking off his shirt in public places.  He had a great body, but it was embarrassing.  Like, we'd get out of his car, and the shirt would come off.  Why???  I have no idea.  Yeah, we were in a warm location, but everyone else seemed to handle the weather well enough to keep their shirts on.  That relationship didn't last long (his chest was very nice, but still...).

Like Matthew McConaughey, no matter the movie, commercial or random shots in the media...the guy loves taking off his shirt. As much as I like a great body, showing off at every oppertunity is too much for me...says more about the guy's character imo and it's not a character I would enjoy personally Ofcourse in case of Kaidan I'm the one taking off the shirt, nothing he can do about it
