But these people that go in whining about the whole thing and saying, "I hope I get to kill ___ because I don't like them anymore and my feelings got hurt etc" need to have a reality check.

And I still think the devs are trying to force some situation that they have planned for ME3 by the way they make it impossible for Shepard to make a clean break with the old LI. That's the frustrating part. It also ties in with their whole, "we think everyone will cheat because the new LI are so compelling etc" thing.

I honestly think they want everyone to 'cheat' or 'move on' or what have you because there's something that's "omgesuperawesome" that they want to have in a lot of people's games. 

I can see them being compelling for guys, but for girls, its either the one human who I don't trust cos he's with Cerebus (and the simple fact that all my "tell me about you" conversation options basically forced me to flirt with him, which pissed me off, cos I'm the type who like to become friends with all my squad members), or 2 aliens. And while Garrus has totally been my character's BFF since the first game...ew. A romantic relationship is not happening.

Indeed...it's odd but I'm looking forward to ME3 even more than I did ME2, mostly because I need closure ofcourse but also because I just know there will be a lot of Kaidan to go around.

Considering how he is said to have a big role, I don't think you'll be disappointed. He wasn't in ME2, but none of the squad mates in ME2 had big roles. Miranda did the Lazarus Project but that was before the game truly started. And Mordin only has one really moment critical to the plot, researching against the Collector swarms, and that's it.

I agree that they were wrong on the whole 'compelling romances' thing in ME3 as I found neither Jacob, Garrus nor Thane attractive in any way (not that I would never say no to a little xenophilia, put Kit Fisto in front of me and sure!). However I really hope that we Kaidan fans get something great for persisting with our ME1 LI if it was supposed to be so 'hard to resist' cheating in ME2. Being so faithful deserves love scenes and kisses and cookies and sunsets and stuff.

So random on; was watching Cinderella 2 with my little cousin yesterday, Prince Charming has totally robbed Kaidan of his hairdo!

Yeah, I would never ask people to stop posting shirtless pics (that would be a tragedy!), but I just can't respond to them, personally, during the day.  I'm sure some people I work with are already wondering what the heck I'm doing on the internet all day...
