So wildly veering back onto the road...I mean topic...

I think the loyalty missions were a bit simplistic. I liked the way loyalty was handled in DAO. Do I necessarily want a sliding bar above everyone's head? NO, but it was built up over time, throw conversations, decisions, and of course a big chunk from the loyalty mission. That's something I think they should keep from DAO

I'd also like to see some squad mate banter like in DAO as well.  Doesn't have to be as much as DAO had but some would be nice.

The loyalty missions felt like a laundry list of things to fix in ME2. It drove me crazy that if I didn't take care of the squadmates' issues immediately, then they stood a high likelihood of dying because they were so distracted.

I wanted Shepard to be able to say, "Stow it. I've shoved my personal problems to the side, so you do the same. After we're done, I'll make an effort to look into it."

Yeah, we had to run all over the flaming galaxy for everyone and their dog but couldn't even manage to send a simple email for ourselves, lol

I REALLY liked the DA:O banter.  To the point I would sometimes delay talking to someone or entering a building to hear the end of it.  It wasn't stilted. It wasn't annoying.  It was really well done. I remember getting ambushed by some of Prin Belen's men and freaking out on them because they interuppted Shale calling Wind "the fussy mage."

I was like, " I WANTED TO HEAR THE END OF THAT! ARGH!"  And promptly summoned my bear on their ass.

LOL, has anyone noticed that Strike's Jacob and Jasmine video is well on it's way to becoming an internet meme? I feel proud that it came from one of our ranks!

People would be talking in the room and I'd be like, "Sssshhh! Morrigan and Alistair are talking!"

I was exactly the same.  Don't know how much time I spent running back & forward over that stupid bridge in Orzammar with various party members to hear any banter I might have missed out on because I didn't use them much in my partyPosted Image

I made it for you all in the KAAS, I just think it's funny that it spread so much.

It would be nice if there were more ways to gain/lose party members loyalty, like the confrontaition scenes. Especially if they weren't all obvious paragon/renegade choices. Would add more depth, and make the 'suicide mission' possibly more compelling also. Sten was one of my favorite ever characters because of the loyalty system in DA. He's great and has so much depth, but in my first playthrough I hated him because he always disapproved of everything I did/said and he just didn't make sense to me.

I agree the Loyalty missions just felt tagged on I do hope the fix that in ME3. I hated that most of the loyalty mission meant that every one lived. For it to be called a suicide mission next time I do hope that they will make it were even, if they are loyal they could die during the mission, if you did not choice correctly

Like for example in ME3, we go up against the Reapers and we choice who will be in the front lines ect.

At least Mordin's and Tali's felt like they may be more expanded on in the next game. Ex: Quarians and Geth and the Krogan Genophage.

I tend to agree that Tali, and Mordin will be likely be more expanded on in the next game. Since the Geth, are going to help defeat the Reapers. It will be awesome to see the Quarians reactions to that during the the game.

It would also be awesome to see the Krogon rise up to what the were, before the Genophage lead by Wrex or Grunt....

I forgot Legion's too, seeing as you can blow them all up or rewrite them.

It's possible if Kaidan or Ashley have one it'd do with the Alliance getting on your side or getting some support, but too soon and hard to tell.

They're really the only ones who never had their own mission at this point.  Garrus and Tali have had TWO.
