Well Jacob has like 3 people to defend him and they can't be on all the time.
Mind you I like Jacob too. He's not a favorite, as he's just too vanilla, but he is likable as long as you skip the romance and try to mentally block FemShep's sex kitten voice.

Yea it's a really strange mentality among some people. They don't seem to have any distance to the characters and take someones personal opinion (not fact) or a joke as a personal insult. Sure, you have the right to defend your favorite character of choice in a discussion if you feel he/she been portrayed in a way you don't agree with, but some seem unable to not retort to insults and create flame war over it.

Well tis a forum after all. Which is why I love this thread so much, it's so friendly...makes me all warm and fuzzy on the inside

It got so bad that after I made a post mocking Twilight style Tali fanart (it was freaking TWILIGHT for god's sake, with Tali in the place of EDWARD CULLEN, how can you NOT make fun of that?) that was in the Tali thread, this one guy said I was spying on the Tali thread.
Spying on the Tali thread! As if it was a super-secret Tali thread that non-fans aren't allowed to see!

Aw sorry scmadsen, doing a zillion things at once here. Thank you for the support though, I do appreciate it. Hopefully Liara will be on the Normandy alongside Kaidan or Ash in ME3

Haha, yea i saw that in the motivational thread (which I btw love). And you wonder why there is so much evil in the world, just look at how easily people go for a "us" and the "other" mentality over the silliest things. I get this Sten moment "this makes no sense".

And I agree with you Jho. Kaidan people are the best great and mature (with a good portion of silliness, but who wouldn't be with all the pics going around ;p) atmosphere in the thread.

Jacob's romance is terrible (and almost everyone is in agreement there), and it's what is put in our face as our "replacement Kaidan" so we take our jabs at it. I only hate the way FemShep speaks to Jacob, and I think that's the biggest complaint about Jacob from anyone.

I actually would like to be able to visit more of the other threads without feeling like a trespasser. I'm a huge Garrus fan. I love and adore him, just not romantically. He's awesome in my book, but I just lurk on his thread since there seems to be some unspoken grudge between the fan groups.
